yeah Jokic plays full length games in his head and studies the possibilities based upon past moves. to beat Jokic you have to really experiment with your lineups and already this means you are at a chemistry disadvantage. thats why OKC squeaked out a series win they were deep enough to do it. its simple really – he doesnt wanna be main scorer. He understands, that in playoffs, people 'figure him out' and they cannot win with him scoring alone. They wanna be more automatic as a team, so that when they are in a pinch or sth, jokic has a second gear and will go for buckets more often – because enemies will be forced to be more aware on the passing, stuff like extra awareness drains the mind in a long playoff run.
he's playing akin to a prime magic johnson, just in big form. people forget magic also had ridiculously low usg% rates for being a superstar (twice averaged 10+ assists with under 20 usg%)

Jokic movement is awkward but he has a idgaf mentality therefore he embraced it and made it into his unique selling point
Jokic and AG are so in sync and have been ever since Gordon joined the Nuggets. It is so fun to watch. Other teams just forget AG is there half the time, and Jokic exploits it every time.
