Enough with the unfounded Jock hate!
You say he’s not offensively flashy as he just had his best offensive game!
Jock Landale against the Warriors:
24 minutes, 17 points(only Ja had more), 100% from the field, 100% from three, 100% from the free throw line, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 turnover!
He doesn’t have to LOOK flashy. He’s there to do a job. Stop being so goddamn shallow.
This is a must win game. We can’t lose ANY games against opponents who are worse than us
We should have kept Jay Huff or Bagley. We could have gotten the same production as Landel.
What a privilege to watch Ja evolve into both a skilled veteran and a powerful leader! Exciting times ahead for this team.
With the current roster and with team that only have 2 true bigs on it….Landall has been pretty serviceable….if that is word. (😂 and probably not).
I feel like Ja's handle is just as good of a ball handler as Kyrie or anybody else. Just because a person dribbles the between their legs and behind their backs all the time doesn't necessarily mean you are the best ball handler.
Dude can you PLEEEEEEASE stop with Trip at the 5. HE IS NOT A 5…. Jock Landale is not supposed to be playing, he's supposed to be a stop gap guy. He's not very good. The fan base was sold on him and he's not as good as advertised. We can't get a defensive rebound to save our lives right now and that is the center's job primarily. Edey would be averaging like 15 rebounds a game with as many shots as we're currently missing.
Ja's mid range shooting and his 3 point shooting is probably his only weaknesses. But I have no doubt that he will improve in those areas as his career continues.
Grizzlies have to get the ball to Jaren early before taking him out 3 minutes into the game.
It's just a bandaid till these guys come back. Edey coming back instantly solves most of the defense in the post and rebounding. Keep the ship afloat till then. Ja, KCP, Coward, JJJ, and Landale is probably what we need to see as the starting 5 and/or closing lineup soon. Come January, I wouldn't mind seeing Vince, GG, and Clarke on the block to see what you can get.
Go get Oscar Tshiebwe damn
I've noticed that Konchar has played his role exceptionally well this season. He may not be a major contributor, but his hustle on defense and rebounding has stood out. He simply doesn't make many mistakes. It would be great if he were taller and bigger, but pound for pound, he's a very reliable player.
As I always say about my man Jitty the magic Konch, white rice goes with everything
Landale is doing the job he is paid to do. Look at any center with his skill set that is putting up the numbers he has, they are in 8 to 15 million range. I would love for Memphis to get Nick Richards or Bitadze. Two excellent offensive rebounders that will protect the rim and set hard screens. We can't just be dependent on Eddy. He also gets into foul trouble and its better to have a solid backup that can share the load with Eddy. Clarke is not a center and the last two seasons he disappears on defense and he been injured consistently. I don't want to see JJJ at center with 2 rebounds. I hope Ja stays with the mid range consistency, that will be valuable in the playoffs.
I’m questioning his rotation choices as well.Far as John Konchar he had a great game against Indiana maybe his best game as a pro but against the Warriors he was terrible besides a few rebounds.I don’t understand why he gets the playing time?Maybe he practice well?
