He's looked about as good as all of our other number 9 picks. He probably has the potential to be the best 9th pick selection by the raps if he continues improving his game. Not to mention, the raptors could really use that defensive acumen. It can't just be Scottie Barnes and Jakob carrying the entire load. You can't go wrong with players who want to play both ends of the court. CMB has serious 2-way potential similar to OG anunoby, and that's all you can really ask for from him. Hope he keeps it up and they continue giving him opportunities.
He's currently #9 on ESPN's rookie rankings which is approx. where he was drafted. His limitations on offense right now may not allow him to rise to top 5 but his basketball IQ and physical attributes will make him a valuable rotation piece as the season progresses.

OG joined a much better team so his usage was less. Fat OG still fits. His handle is better and he is less stiff than OG. OG was more perimeter based and CBM is more paint based.
