    Kevin – what does a #1 means? Is Hali a #1 for the Pacers while not being their best scorer or defender? Yes, He is their best player because of how he impacts them with passing and playmaking – which is how Scottie can impacts Raptors as well

    So KOC must have gotten a request from Ainge to start hyping Lauri. He is the same value as a Bane trade nothing more. We're talking 3 picks and maybe one promising young guy. Otherwise no one is desperate for a dude who has never been in the playoffs

    Markannen is probably worth 5 first round picks because Jazz is going to get 1-2 bad salary dump players back. If they instead get 2 young prospects, probably 2 more first round picks will be enough.

    I don't think you can look at Keaton Wallace's minutes since Trae went and and say that the team wouldn't be better with Trae. I think Trae is a cerebral enough player that he's taking note of what he can do to best benefit the team when he gets back. If you look at the Hawks slow start, a lot of the bad minutes were when Trae was off-ball looking for his role. I wouldn't be shocked if his time out has helped both him and the team realize their roles within the Snyder system.
