  1. People really gotta stop tryna push this whole β€œ Nico had nothing to do with it narrative.” Shit is fucking ridiculous. Obviously ownership had a huge part to play but saying Nico had zero parts to play and giving him zero responsibility is asinine

  2. Couldn’t agree more. I was surprised that they didn’t do it before the season started.

  3. Nico Harrison got rid of Luka, and it's a coincidence Dallas Mavericks got pick number 1 in the first round πŸ€”. So, don't be surprised if Cooper Flagg is traded in his during his prime or earlier.

  4. No moving on – an owner group who says "In Nico we trust" and approves shipping off Luka only to backpedal and fire the guy has no business being around a professional sports team. A real leader would have taken full responsibility for what is already the worst trade in all of professional sports and will only get worse. Unfortunately, Nico isn't a leader nor are any of the people in ownership that have any say, including "the Governor." They just want to self-delude and save face.

  5. Dirk sounds well but he is covering for the owners. Mavs built around Luka with 6'9 wings while MARK CUBAN was the owner. The new owners had no interest in continuing that especially not with paying Luka 380 million in a supermax that he was eligible for. That's the bottomline that nobody brings up that the entire owners was in on this decision. What franchise player you hear get traded in 1 night with no bidding war of the sorts to one of the biggest market cities in America? People can't be this gullible.

  6. I am not even a Mavs fan, but that trade upset me so much because it was so illogical. Basically an over confident GM convinced ownership to trade a player that was destined to have a statue. What they got in return was a player that should be called Mr. Glass. Pure bullshit.

  7. The thing about the trade is how very little Dallas got in return. What did the Utah Jazz get for Rody Gobert? Why did Dallas not demand better players, say Lebron/AD, Austin Reeves, other starter quality players, plus at least 10 first round picks.

  8. Nico not only destroyed his own career, he ruined it for any new aspiring first time GM for a man nba team. This move really destroyed the entire franchise, there’s no coming back.

  9. I don't get why he gets all the hate, it's not like he was the only one who agreed on that trade.

  10. this is a media spectacle to protect Miriam Addelson. she wants to move the team to the west coast and tries her best to ruin the connection between dallas and the team

  11. Don't worry. After 2030 the mavs might finally have hope. Nico set the mavs back 4 years with his moves. He was that bad.

  12. He was only fired NOW?! I don't follow the NBA that closely buy it's been months, they were just sitting on their asses?
