  1. Adleman explained he went so deep in the bench for jones because he wants to keep the bench similar. Removing pwat and thj leaves Val and bb zeke is bad

  2. That was a poor defensive performance from the nuggets, that's why the game was close. I don't know man as nuggets fan i see the same issue in the perimeter defense. Shooters love playing the nuggets.

  3. They are going to keep starting Jones because the 2nd unit is holding onto leads and getting Joker some rest. No need to mess with that. Let the other 4 guys score.

  4. Spencer Jones should not be on an NBA basketball court, period. Let alone for a championship contender.

for all the good moves Denver made in the off-season, it's clear the line-up is still paper thin. shows just how inept Calvin Booth was.

  5. Much love. Spencer Jones is a glue, hustle and D guy. He can also low key shoot 3’s. Swatson in the corner is deadly. Jokic is from another planet. We, as Nuggets fans have been spoiled. This year is our best shot. After this year we probably lose Bruce, Hardaway and Watson. 😢

  6. The Nuggets did this without two starters. We're pretty good at covering that Christian Braun spot but the Aaron Gordon spot has been very difficult. Jones is not him. You can tell how bad Zeke Nhaji is by the fact that they'd rather go with Jones who scored zero for the game. He's awful on defense and the only thing he can do okay is get in the corner but we have a lot of guys who can go to the corner who are better than him. This is not normally the way the Nuggets play with all of this 3-point shooting but they have to without two starters. It sucked losing to the Kings but that was on a back-to-back without Aaron Gordon and Christian. This is going to be a tough couple months. I don't know if there's a trade available for a decent number three or four guy to fill that spot but we're very thin at that position. Let's go Nuggets.

  7. What Spencer Jones does won’t show up in these highlights Ztay. He hustles and makes plays bro. Denver has enough offense and Jones usually there to inject energy and hustle. He’s a difference maker bro.

  8. Peyton SWATson is shooting 40% from 3 this year. So I think nuggets fans are so use to him missing they haven't adapted or realized he's makin 40% of Threes this season. Trust the process

  9. Jones is their lock down man. He is either going to the ground to fight for that ball or he is causing a steal or he is just keeping the shooter from moving more than 2 feet. It’s more eye test than box score

  10. Shooting a half court shot with your regular shooting form is actually crazy 😂. Even steph curry and luka does more of a push type shot when they shoot from half court lol

  11. Always appreciate your Nuggets content. Jokic is just unreal. I think the Nuggets can continue to start Spencer if they keep him to 15 minutes or less. There are a few teams that have done this where they have a starter who doesn't really play starter minutes. He is really raw, but you missed that he had 4 offensive boards, he also hustles and plays great defense (when he isn't fouling…). He is also a really good 3 point shooter even though he has only taken a few. He just needs to develop.

They called up Daron Holmes from the G League, so he might get some play time in Aaron's spot. It is a little ahead of schedule, but having two starters out for 4-6 weeks and 1 rotation player (Strawther) out for an indefinite period really limits your options. Hopefully Zeke, Holmes and Spencer can develop in this time and not cost the Nuggets too many games. I definitely agree that Spencer wasn't ready for the Kings game.

  12. im 100% taking spencer jones over nnaji. his defense is so good and he can hit some open 3s. he really just needs to get a better whistle from the refs because he picks up fouls that any average rotational player would rarely pick up

  13. The thing with Spencer Jones is, this is his first real run in the NBA. Garbage time/2 way guy last year and worked his way up. His defense has been elite. Offense is a work in progress in trying to figure out how exactly he fits and I’m sure they’ll figure that out in the time Gordon/Braun is out.

Nnaji is more or less who he is at this point with the Nuggets. He’s starting to hit his 3s again but he lost all confidence in his shot the past 2 seasons so another rough stretch isn’t out of question. He’s a switchable tweener big who is solid defensively. I think he gets overpowered a good bit though whereas Jones is more sturdy. But Nnaji has terrible hands, struggles to catch and hold onto the ball. He has great energy on the boards and could be a decent roll option but he’s just always fighting himself trying to catch the ball
