I literally have not met a single Raps fan who likes anything he says – because he has no idea what he's talking about. It goes back to what Coach Pop used to say when people ask him how his teams manage to win: "We scored and didn't let the other team score". Nobody cares if BI took 30 shots to get 37 points, did we win the game? Scottie – the man Pensare probably has a shrine to in his closet – straight up said "give BI the ball and get out of the way" when BI is hot. "Our team doesn't play that way"? What? Toronto wants to WIN. We've needed someone to come into the half-court and cook, we needed an iso-scorer to come in and get work done when the transition – Scottie and RJ's specialty – doesn't work. They needed someone to complement Scottie, and BI is showing to be that exact piece. He needs to stop hating on BI. All that pen is asking from Ingram is for him to make the right reads and passes when he’s getting triple and double teamed. Yes Bi can hit those shots sometimes but that’s not good offensive basketball when the game is coming down to the wire. You have other guys on the court who can hit open shots. There were a couple plays where it lead to a bad shot or a turnover from Bi, that doesn’t mean Pen doesn’t know the value of Bi to the team

pen tripping lool he doesn't speak for the team… Brandon is there to take and make tough shots in the half court setting. every star player takes a lot of shots and has possessions like the one he highlighted. Brandon shot 50% in the game… he was hot 10/10 times you ride the hot hand, sometimes you got to let go of the "system" talk when a player is hot and getting the job done. Could Brandon make better decisions sometimes ? yes, but let's not act like Brandon joining this team has not taken the team to another level loool. Scottie needs to be more aggressive trying to score, especially when it's him plus the bench… this one game he scores 28 and the next he scores 12 ain't going to work if this team really wants to make a deep run in the playoffs.
