Since Doc Rivers moved him into the front office in 2016, Frank summarily replaced Rivers as President of Basketball Operations, fired Rivers, traded Blake Griffin after signing him to a max deal, and then made that infamous Paul George trade while bending the knee to Uncle Dennis in order to get Kawhi Leonard. And for all that, the Clippers has one conference finals appearance that was accomplished without Kawhi Leonard.
In the process, the Clippers are directly responsible for creating the next NBA dynasty. And for what? Not a single Finals appearance. To make matters worse, they lose Paul George for nothing after giving up a future MVP and 5 first-rounders for him, with the last pick having the potential to be a future All-Star. And now Frank does this.
Oh I forgot this: Harden wants out, the Clippers want Kawhi out to try and shield the owner for his screw-up, Beal is opting out of his contract while playing less than 10 games, and Lopez will retire. They didn't want to extend Norman Powell, a premier 3-and-D guy. Instead Frank decides to trade him to the best player development team in the league (Miami), where Powell is wrecking shop and will be an All-Star this season.
Between all of Ballmer's scandals (the Aspiration one is far from the only thing he's done) and Frank's incompetence, the Clippers are reaching Donald Sterling territory in the worst franchises in professional team sports history.
