  1. Trade with the Hawks: Giannis & Portis, For: Okongu, Rishazer, Porzingus + 1st round pick next year. Lose the rest of the year and that would give the Bucks 2 top 8 picks next year in a deep draft. That gives you a starting 5 of KPJ, Rollins, Rishazer, Porzingus, & Turner. Bench would be Okongu, AJ, Kuzma. Plus next year you have 2 lottery picks, thats a good team right there. All you have to do is get a coach

  2. The Bucks' inability to acquire, play or develop two capable 3 wings has cost them; Bobby has slowed down making defensive rotations weaker when on the floor and; neither Trent nor Prince nor Anthony nor Harris nor Coffey have contributed as much as hoped. Throw in Giannis' recurrent injury status, Miles' lack of rebounding, KPJ's injury to open the season and now AJ Green's and although Rollins has emerged, Kuzma has improved, AJ's 3 point shot has become deadly, Jericho's played solid defense & grabbed even more rebs than last year all with Giannis still being Giannis when he's actually been out there, you have a team that will end up .500 at best.

  3. Justin and Camille,

Thanks for talking about the draft. I can't keep the Bucks draft position straight with the swaps, three way trades and lottery. I'm glad we have a pick in the 1st round. In 2027, 2028 and 2029 do we have a first round picks?
The Dame trade obviously didn't work out especially in that we are cash strapped and got nothing for Dame. Dame is in the catbird seat and made out well. Good for him. Acquiring him was a way to improve our team, he didn't bad mouth Milwaukee, he played hard, but it wasn't to be. But I hope the "not working out part" doesn't define us for the next decade.

I wouldn't tank no matter what. Develop these players. Unleash them. Make it a no pressure season. They'll win their share. If you tank then you lose the drive to win and respect. How many years would that set us back? Personally, I'm very happy with the play of Rollins, Sims, Trent, Turner, Porter, Kuz, Jackson and others I may have missed mentioning. It's a good, young team missing a couple of all stars. It's possibly a better group than helped win the 2021 Championship. You shouldn't waste these player's efforts to tank. Besides when Giannis comes back that my get us in the playoffs for a long run.

I'd like to see Thansis play a lot more. He'd be effective near the rim. He's the only one on our team who can set picks like Andre Drummond. He's a lot faster than Drummond ever was. A side note: How does a guy like Drummond get that big? What does he eat? It must be awfully inconvenient outside of basketball.

Another thing I don't understand is Giannis status relating to the draft deadline. If we don't trade him by the draft deadline can he walk in 2027 or 2028 and we get nothing?

If he's traded I hope he and his family stay a residents of Milwaukee or wherever their living in WI. He means a great deal to this state and it's all good. I saw a negative comment regarding him deleting his post. For all his sacrifice to the team and the state of WI and for all we gave him just let him go but only to a team that will give us the most. Don't argue. As the players say "this is a business." He may find the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the hill.

Is John Horst ineffective in picking players in the draft? If so, someone else better be because we have to rebuild.

I think Doc should stay but he seems to be getting old in the tooth or just plain tired. I don't blame the coach for a transition that may take 46 years to get to fruition. Remember in 2021 many said we may not see another championship for a long time. I've enjoyed both of them, yes 1971 and 2021. Except for the Circus Parade which is no longer, those championships were probably the only thing that brought our city together.

On a more pedestrian note, if were not contenders will ticket prices go down? Never the less I'm a Bucks fan for eternity.

    Michael T. Sullivan
