Playoffs 20%. But for sure play in. Big question will be when Irving returns and let's say he plays 35 mins a night. Who gives up those mins? Williams, Ryan, Christie? For sure D'Angelo, Martin & Hardy. But man the way Ryan is playing at point I just cant see moving him from the starting point guard job.

They need to trade Out of Martin , Russell for a shooter off the bench next to Klay.

I think people are thinking that Kyrie will be all-star Kyrie when he returns. In reality, he will be lucky to 80%. Folks, that is a serious injury and him shooting around means nothing.
I think this team makes the playoffs but gets thrashed by OKC in round 1. They are too good to tank so that pick this year is as good as gone. Series will be 5 games at best and I think it will be similar to OKC vs Memphis last year .
We just beat Houston who were no. 2 behind OKC at the time and Denver who were no. 3 with half the roster in street clothes. We'll get in the 4-6 spot at least if we put an end to all of these bad ankles. 🤦🏾♂️

Klay is 27-59 over the last seven games on threes (46%) and is finding his role.
Still lousy on 2’s (8-25 🤮) and he’s old and slow on defense but if he just reigns in his tendencies to attack a closeout with a mid range jumper he will be fine.
Just his reputation alone keeps the lane open for everyone else. He should eventually head back to golden state now that he won’t demand starters minutes (36.6% FG this year and only 12 free throw made all year). Nothing clears a lane like the greatest three point shooting forward of all time.
If we win the next three (Brooklyn, Utah and Detroit) we will be headed to the play-in this year. Especially a win against Detroit will prove this wasn’t all a mirage. $8 for tickets to the Utah game (in SLC) so yes things could be worse lol.
Lively will once again be a 2026-27

The Mavericks need to play in the way that helps Cooper Flagg develop the most. The more games the Mavericks win the better for Flagg's development. And if they can make it into the playoffs that will be even a stronger learning experience for Cooper. The Mavericks should only trade AD if a team offers them a very decent trade compensation, two starters and two first round picks. Otherwise, the Mavericks should stand with AD and Kyrie and Cooper and the rest of team for this season and see what happens.
