  1. In general (not saying everyone is a part of this) but Bulls fans deserve this. Because as a collective, we’re all morons. As much as we like to complain we’re too quick to latch on to any small amount of success we find ourselves in. This team is a shambles, there isn’t a semblance of success in it, not Giddey, not Matas, not Coby, not anything. At best, our best players would be very good role players on a contending team. Not a single competitive franchise would EVER have Giddey as their cornerstone, not a single competitive franchise would value Matas any more than a third option at best, more likely a fourth option or a 6Moty candidate. We severely overvalue everything to do with the Chicago bulls, and act surprised when the truth hits us like a truck

  2. You are right, something big happened behind the scenes. And calling out the team in public was idiotic, especially for a coach. So between the injuries, not respecting the players, and, I feel, something else behind the scenes, this team is in big trouble and might not recover. It's so sad to have had that start and then in one second, it's gone. This was a fucking fun team to watch at the beginning of the season and I was hoping it would last.

  3. To quote DA, well listen… The bulls roster was always ass and the hot start was fools gold

  4. It's like I tell my coworkers, when your effort is meaningless, don't bother giving full effort. The goal is to do just enough to not get fired. Minimum effort for minimum reward. Same idea here. These guys have all clearly been told most of them are not coming back next year, their coach isn't paying attention half the time, and they're not ready to compete at a high level. So why put any effort in? Do just enough to post stats that look good on paper and just relax. Frankly I don't blame them. It's a great gig and they don't have any obligation to work hard for Jerry's sake.

  5. There’s nothing internally man. The team just isn’t as good as you thought. The entire reason vooch said that was because we were playing the way we’ve literally been playing against every other team in that game too it just ended in a win. Teams are just quick to adjust. This is the NBA. We’re not a talented enough team to adjust to other teams adjust adjustments. The roster has glaring issues. You can’t assume the first six games are the real Bulls and that the past 9 aren’t who we are.

  6. If its that easy for them to loose their confidence, they don't need to be in the NBA- there needs to be a organizational purging!!

  7. Past four years, is been the same thing and we posted the issues again and again.

The players and coaches show a certain psychological patterns, which they had throughout their career. Giddy is the only person who overcame it.

  8. The Bulls problem isn't that complicated. There just isn't much talent on this team. The roster construction is terrible and the talent development is poor. For the first few games, the players were over performing, particularly the bench, but then the shooting variance returned to normal and the weakness of the roster got exposed. Add in some injuries to important pieces and the flaws in the roster became even more apparent. The team just isn't NBA caliber. You can blame Billy Donovan, and he's by no means faultless, as his lack of adaptation in game and lack of play calling in key moments is definitely a problem, but any coach would struggle to win with this roster of players.

The real problems with the team are higher up, specifically AK and Jerry Reinsdorf. The upper management is not being held accountable in any way by the owner for how they have recruited and managed staff and players, and the owner is unwilling to spend money to make the team successful by doing things like hiring specialist coaches and analytics staff. Organizational culture comes from the top and Jerry's lack of care about on court success as long as the org makes money is reflected in the culture of the organization and the performance of the team. Nothing can realistically change for the Bulls under the current ownership.

  9. the chemistry was thrown off by the return of Koby. I thought this was going to happen trade Koby…

  10. 1:12 “The fans deserve an explanation for what happened to this team.”

I couldn’t agree more. I’m usually on the players side wondering how do you explain a bad game.

But this is different. It’s not just shots not falling. Something happened.

  11. meanwhile Derik Queen got a career high 33 points
    10 rebounds 10 assist 😅
I’m not saying he could have answered the bulls problem but could have helped.

  12. Selling NBA cards of COBY WHITE, tons of autos, GUs, and lot more. Quitting sale, for emergency purposes.

  14. Honestly not much left to say at this point. Unless people stop showing up and watching games, not much will change.

  15. dude i hope there was an altercation because if this team is so soft that comments questioning their talent is enough to cripple their effort, they were never gonna be good anyway.

  16. Hot take it's not talent, it's the strategies and tactics they are being coached in. Actually I would say the problem is the opposite of talent. The players are behaving like they're more talented than they are, always driving to the basket, trying to shoot through walls of defenders when they should be doing better formations and passing more. Basically I think this coach doesn't suit these players. The winning teams in the league are more sophisticated in their tactics and training imho and that comes down to the coaching. This simple, predictable driving style of basketball requires a team of all Giannis' which is not what they have. Look at the teams which are good at passing inside and kicking.

  17. I think they were getting lucky when they were winning, they are getting unlucky to be losing this much, and the reality is they are just a mid team and have always been a mid to below mid team.
