front office has failed building around him for how many years now? on his 6th season we got 3 freshman starters. Hornets front office has been so bad lets not put all the blame on Melo here, imo. smh
Hornets have some nice pieces. Lamelo is the only smudge I feel. Brandon, Kon are the foundation.
How Lamelo like 25 years old making 250 million and he is soft spoken not a vocal leader not holding the team accountable no heart or desire to win. Then you got the rookie Kon being vocal about not accepting losing at 20 years old! Clearly he is the leader and culture setter we need to build around.

I feel like the win in Toronto has been a little overlooked and underated.
I'm at the point where we take Dylan Harper and a 2nd or Coby white and Zach Colins from the Bulls.. Coby is a smaller version of Cade Cunningham and stays healthy.Then get off Josh Green 15 mill contract ,Tre Mann 8mill a yr and Pat.C we are clogged at Josh and Pats position trade for a SADDIQ BEY or a Naji Marshall throw those guys in w some 2nds get a PF..Develop our bother wings. Colin is a 17/6/3 in 22.3 min and MILES is 22.3/6.8/3.9 defense is better Avg Colin is a bull dog…They sign team friendly 3yrs taking a few mil less a year SIGN THEM CUT BAIT ON MELO….
I think Jeff n Charles have shifted culture with the offseason moves and these last two drafts( I really like TJ Sal). Paul George said the Hornets are where a player goes when their career is over. F THAT, if you are a good enough player, you could help turn it around. Dont be scared of it, accept the CHALLENGE OF IT!
I'm glad somebody's saying it. Every time I look at the standings I'm wondering why everybody says the season is over already??
If it stays on the current trajectory it is, but this team could be a lot better second half with some guys hopefully coming back healthy and more time for this largely new group playing together.
Who knows? I'm not calling it yet.
Also had to come and take my comeuppance. I was one of the people who was not convinced of the Kon pick at 4—-at all.
He's already playing at what I thought would be his absolute ceiling in the NBA. Wrong on that one! (And glad for it)
Be nice if we held our so-called leaders of teams way more important than the Hornets acountable…or is that Lamelo's fault too!

I give you an E for effort Walker for trying to limit the melo talk but some fans live for their pound of flesh which happens to be melo. I’m not even mad at them bcuz I’m frustrated also. I just think there is plenty of blame to go around. I don’t think he enjoys being injured or losing and he is trying to play the way Lee wants him to even though it doesn’t compliment his style of play. Any fan with an ounce of sense knows the hornets are tanking for the draft and rightfully so it’s loaded. I think everyone will get their wish in due time. One thing for sure when melo is gone Lee won’t be getting any more passes I guarantee you tht.
