I’m mentally and physically prepared. I kind of knew about Sabonis because of his contract. And he does want to stay in Sactown. As for Zach to me, needs to be moved ,but the dudes contract is 47 million. Horrible trade last year when the kings traded Fox 🦊 for LaVine, got nothing in return

I’d be ok with stretching and waving sabonis and lavine or buying them out just to clear the roster and give the younger guys more minutes only nique Keon and max should be safe everyone else should be gone within the next 2-3 years
another wave of Kings blowout losses, the GM gave a public interview. He told fans "I know the team is a little small"… It's the NBA. Every team has giant athletes, except this Sacramento roster with Scott Perry's signature
When it comes to the Wizards and Sabonis….I think I understand why they would do it. Alex Sarr hasn't become what they hoped he would.
On top of it, this gives them a chance to move off of Kris Middleton and his contract without having to wave him. Add in, we get a pick likely in return from the Wizards and if it is the 2026 pick, that gives the Kings a chance at 2 top picks in the draft.
I would absolutely make that deal with them. If they include the 2026 pick with it.
I want the Warriors to trade J Kuminga, M Moody, B Hield, & B Podziemski to Kings for D Sabonis & K. Ellis. Think the salaries match up.
Remember when kings had Fox and Mike brown then Monte McNair drafted garbage like Devin carter ? lol
Id consider a Keegan trade for picks.. One of those would have to be a fairly good pick and maybe a middling 2nd 1st

King’s draft picks are more valuable to other teams than the Kings who can’t draft.
Pacers would give up A future 1st for Keon. Hes literally to A T the exact type player Carlisle likes
None of the Veterans may not be moved. 😳Keegan has the best value for JK. Murray Rookie season was a fluke.
1- I don't expect immediate results but hopefully some trades that actually benefit us roster or salary wise does occur. I'm okay if Sabonis gets dumped for low value at this moment, it's not going to get any better after this season.
2- I wouldn't do that trade, the Lavine problem would just become the Trae Young problem even if he's a way better player. I rather have the team convince him to either accept a team friendly (tradable) offer for the next 3-4 years or just bench him next him season if he takes his player option. I'm also not a fan to give away Devin Carter to just save 5 million.
3- Keegan value is hard to figure, he could without a doubt net more. He's already playing at all-defensive level and will only get better on the offensive end. He's only 25 and does fit the timeline of what the team builds next. Picks are dicey, they could either be good players or total bust. One thing for sure is that you will never get Keegan Murray back.
If you can’t trade Demar/ Domas/ Dennis /Zach, do nothing. Don’t force it. Trading Malik, Devin, Keon or one of young guys won’t help.
Banger of an episode Matt. When you say the Kings have to use the draft to do the rebuild correctly, I believe most Kings fans agree with you. It’s just that none of us have faith that any GM can get the damn draft right. I get it, it’s a crap shoot, I just pray those picks work out. In Scott we trust. (Also I’m here for the Trae plan)
