I hope they get a couple of cheaper options like Ellis or Abgaji or Ayo or even Harris instead of Herb Jones. They simply need more athletic 2-way players. 1 Herb Jones may not be enough and that will probably cost Rui and most of their assets. If they can keep Rui and still get 2 good 2-way wings, that’s the best case scenario.

Herb Jones would be great but absolutely not enough; they need a 3&D wing that can also create for himself!! I think Andrew Wiggins is the only realistic choice… him or Jerami Grant!!
Yeah I know Lakers fans will hate on both these guys and talk as if they’re not even worth the lousy 1st the Lakers have but both these guys shoot better 3% then Luka & AR, both can create for themselves and both are longer, more athletic and more capable defenders than Luka & AR!!!!
It's clear to me that JJ Reddick values offense a lot more than defense. If they truly wanted to improve their defense, they'd be playing Vanderbilt, Thiero, and Manon. The wing defense that everyone says they need is already on the roster, but Reddick won't give them any minutes of real consequence. It's very telling.

They need to put rui with second unit and have nick smith jr fully signed just so he can hunt buckets off the bench him and rui in a second unit would be a good fit imo have Marcus smart as a small forward LeBron at power forward and the rest is the same just a little shake up we need nick smiths scoring with rui off the bench
I didn't think pelicans would say its a firesale over here. We dont value our players. Honestly its no surprise. But truth is if they are asking for two first round picks for a player who will avg 10 ppg and make 20m in two years. He will still be a pelican and walk away free at the end of his contract. Pels will come down off that offer.
