He sits both his 7 footers and guards wemby with jalen williams. He did the same thing against Yocich and the only reason okc beat denver was because they got injured during the series. Unless coach dag changes his strategy against either Denver or San Antonio they will loose to either of those teams i'm calling it now.

Oklahoma City is much closer to Vegas than San Antonio
Since the Celtics dynasty if the 60s, the league has always done far better financially and in the ratings when they had a dominant super team on top of the league ans they've always done worse when there league was plagued with parity.

OKC has had one of the easiest starting schedules in NBA history. They haven't played ANY of the Top 6 East teams yet, and only four games against Top 6 West teams. So out of their 26 games so far, 22 have been against play-in teams or worse. They lost to the Spurs at home, beat the Rockets in OT at home, and beat the Wolves by 8 at home. So they don't exactly look like world beaters against good teams, and they haven't even played a good team on the road yet.
This doesn't mean they aren't an awesome team, but it also means they won't keep winning at this pace once they start playing actual contenders.
They also lost a major bag.
This win showed how weak the thunder had it the last 25 games

Wemby was fantastic. The Spurs played great defense and okc shot horrible, but im i worried about a playoff series no for 3 reasons 1 The Thunder won't shoot like this every night 2 this was a best of 1 series not best of 7 and 3 keep in mind Wemby had by the most rest of anyone on the floor.

So, you pointed out the Thunder's poor shooting performance, but the Spurs were equally as bad. This came down to defense & both teams did great but with Wemby on the floor, it's WHY the Thunder didn't do well shooting wise. Wemby is something special & I"m from OKC

Great game by the Spurs…but no need for Okc fans to be panicking, gameplaning for a lineup that has played ZERO minutes together is impossible and Wemby was way more impactful than we expected him to be given how little minutes he played. The NBA cup should be improved to have an top 16 single elimination tournament to finish it off. We need a bit more single elimination games. Even if it wont change the results overall, it just makes everything feel more meaningful. They should make it so the top 8 seeds of each division coming into Dec are in the tournament, and we get like a week of only NBA cup games to really hype it up
To think that the NBA was better off seeing Spurs vs OKC, over OKC vs Lakers with Bron/Luka, just says a lot about which teams are actually interesting (also OKC would beat the Lakers by 30 easily)
