The NBA Was NOT Ready For the San Antonio Spurs…
Heading into this NBA Cup matchup in Vegas, let’s be honest, there wasn’t much reason to believe the San Antonio Spurs were actually going to get this done. The OKC Thunder wasn’t just another good team. This was the best team in the league, playing with confidence, rhythm, and the kind of edge that usually ends these stories before they even start. Everything about the setup screamed reality check.
And then Victor Wembanyama happened. Even with a hard minutes restriction that kept him to just 21 minutes, that might have been the best 21 minutes I have ever seen — a literal +21 in 21 minutes in a game of this magnitude. The moment he stepped on the floor, the energy flipped, the game flipped, and suddenly this didn’t feel like a mismatch anymore. This felt like a statement. A 111–109 win over a Thunder team like this doesn’t just go in the standings, it changes the conversation, and the way the Spurs managed to pull this off should have the entire NBA paying attention because this felt like the night San Antonio officially arrived as a real threat in the Western Conference.

Great game! But Caruso was hacking Wemby left and right. He did the same to Jokic in the playoffs. I don’t know how he gets away with it.
Wemby and Castle left this game like they just got outa street fight. Refs were against them no doubt
IF OKC meets the Spurs in the playoffs they will sweep them The Thunder was 9-37 on threes so they just had a really off shooting night.
Wembi and trash talk….i love it !!
Wemby + Fox + Castle + Vassell are balling out of control!!! Go spurs go!
If I'm OKC, i'm not trading for Giannis. This team has so much value already. Wemby is the clear 1st option, fox is the clear 2nd option, and they have a LOT of great supporting cast members. Castle, Harper, Vassell, Kornet, HB, and KJ are all really great. Losing 2-3 of them for Giannis feels like a decent deal until you ask yourself "what does this look like 5 years from now?". The spurs core is already set. Giannis makes them a super contender and probably a favorite, but id hate to be the one responsible for trading one or two of Castle, Harper, or Fox.
Music too loud
this AI voices are getting better bruh wtf, nice vid
Background music is AWEFUL!
Castle⚔️Harper THE SLASH BROTHERS⚡️⚡️ + FOX 🦊🔥
Will Slash Open! Opponent Defense Everytime Then Need to!
7:24 *After FOUL by caruso but NO WHISTLE
How many fouls were not called for the Spurs in this game ? I d say in the 5-10 times area. Caruso especially was hacking Vic without a whistle at least 3 times, Castle got hacked at least 4 times going to the ring and hardly had a Ft to shoot. Refs have to start respecting the Spurs
Wemby was goin off
As a spurs fan pump the breaks we are inexperienced in the playoffs besides fox, Barnes and biyombo. and biyombo is washed and a bum

San Antonio is legit. But OKC is still gonna win the title.
Just remember prime Embiid scored 70 against Wemby…. Man what could have been lmao.
