As a mavs fan I can’t speak for everyone but this game was perfect, historic night for cooper and one loss closer to a higher draft pick
Since the Mavs are a business that’s asking fans to pay for a new arena, the absolute worst thing they can do is to lose intentionally the season after they had the worst trade in sports history. If they want to gain fan support, they need to win as much as possible. In 30 years, the Mavs have only drafted one player who stayed with the team past 6 years. So this draft is not nearly as important as you sports buffs are pretending. Dirk, Devin, Luka, and now Cooper are it in 25 years. You’re so overestimating the importance of a draft pick when the business itself has the worst community relationship in sports history. Winning solves everything. Losing is a terrible business decision at this time. Adelson must realize this is a business and not listen to you sports enthusiasts.
Tank and Adelson doesn’t get an arena, but the Mavs may get another Dennis Smith Jr. Win now and the team can rebuild the worst public relations nightmare in sports history.
AD will always have that IF factor, he CAN do a lot of damage but for that he has to be healthy… I still say try to trade him. Its to much of a dice game with him if he can be on the floor

Both teams have the same record and likely aren’t winning anything, so it’s not like this is a contender losing to a crap team, we’re both crap.
No rotations left them gassed so they bottomed out, it is what it is.
