Is there a problem with NBA officiating? Yes. Nothing new. This has been a long term issue. KD did a great job on defense. He should have took the last shot.

Out one corner of the mouth, it's nothing but "the game is soft these days players aren't tough they don't defend." Out the other corner is excuse-making for the world's most obviously bad call. A feather's touch from a quarter inch of your knee to a quarter inch of the players leg, followed by said played CLICKING HIS OWN TWO FEET TOGETHER AND TRIPPING (going unmentioned for some reason) is not a foul. It's just not. If that is a foul, then every play in an NBA game is a foul because there is more contact on the average no-call than there was on this foul call.
We can't make excuses for ticky tack baby touch foul calls if we want to opine about how the NBA isn't tough anymore. It wasn't a foul. Grown men should universally be able to admit that. Yes the Rockets made errors in other ways that cost them the game. But we have to be honest about the officiating as well, it was unacceptable. L2M report has confirmed it too.

As a rockets fan, what Iām about to say is probably not gonna make sense but bear with me. I donāt think the refs lost us the game but they costed us the game, if that makes sense. We had OT to get it together and win the game and we couldnāt do it, thatās not on the refs, but the refs definitely costed us the game with that amen call, which is not a foul. The game shouldāve never went into overtime to begin with. Let the boys dictate the game.
Refs were horrible all night. Regardless of wins and losses why is it ācope or stop cryingā when you asking just for consistency on both ends. If we playing tough on both ends and no calls, cool. If we doing ticky tacky calls on both, letās call everything. Just be consistent
The refs miss stuff all the time. But whatās not making sense to me is complaining that thereās no way the ref saw the foulā¦if he guessed, thatās what a challenge is for. After review itās still determined a foulā¦so he ended up not being wrong but weāre mad he accidentally got it right?
