Hi Ben… I am going to double down on my previous posts. Even trading IQ and some draft capital for a real Center like Nic Claxton.
If the Raptors want to be serious in fighting for the 6th seed, and a guaranteed playoff spot, they are going to have to trade for a Center before their upcoming tough schedule. They will not be able to hold their own. IQ, Ochai, Gradey and draft capital need to be on the table for that Center and a reliable PG. In trading IQ, I would like Shead and Chucky (back up) to get a shot but also acquire a PG to be sure. Watching for the front office to make a move. Cheers and don't stop Ben!
You people are fkd. This is year two of the rebuild. You’re acting like we are going for a title. I believe we should be a top six team. But let’s be real. We could use another lottery pick. Gradey is a joke now. He’s horrible all of a sudden. They need to shut yak down for 2 weeks at minimum.
It seems like when the teams playing really good Scotty's playing really good. When the team is not playing really good, Scotty is not playing really good 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️… One thing for sure the Raptors need another certified Center. I'm losing faith completely in Bobby Webster and I'm close wanting him fired myself for sitting idle while the team that costs so much plays crap basketball.. I'm already regretting subscribing to both Sportsnet and TSN to watch a B league team play losing basketball

Quickley isn’t a starting PG. Without a healthy Jak, our defense is a joke.
benrogers beating up on and padding wins against bad teams or injury riddled teams in the start of the season doesnt mean raptors are contenders or even a playoff team. the team is ass. look at the draft picks even, gradey and jakobe are ass. ane everyone but jamal shead drafted or undrafted is ass.
its bobby sending the message to fans, they are going for a lottery pick. rogers probably green lit this as he wont pay tax, so ochai will be dumped to get under the tax. as for the rest of the team, they either develope and step up, or the raptors get a lottery pick. no one is coming to save the raptors. bobby saying no center, fine. let the chips fall where they may and get a good pick in a strong draft.
maybe if a good offer comes for ingram like 2-3 picks, raptors go back into a rebuild.
scottie barnes hasnt taken that super star leap, so we can give him another year if we can trade ingram for 2-3 first rounders.
Look how many rookie Centers are playing and dominating this year. Queen, Raynaud… how did we not draft a center. Seems like we’ve given up on Chomche, who I thought could be an impact player this season. Bobby isn’t doing enough, Darko needs to be in the hot seat.
best thing would be to shut jakob poeltl down for the season and let him have his back surgery and just tank for a good pick in a strong draft in 2026. its clear scottie cant carry an offence yet so have another developmental year and get a good pick. give the young guys more playing time.

Bobby and Darko, ignoring the centre problem has only made it worse. What are you doing playing Poeltl when he is not fully recovered? Grab a couple of promising bigs from the G League until you can make a trade.
Next, quit playing the same duds over and over. Bring fresh meat to the bench! Bring up your 2-ways. Can't be worse. Could find some gold.
Show the good players and fans that you are trying to solve the problems or morale is going to continue to tank. You have certainly lost me. I am going to watch the 905 until I see some real changes. So long until then.

I like CMB but Raptors should drafted Ryan Kalkbrenner. As for now I’m willing to a 2026 first for Dayshon Sharpe and then trade Ochai and a 2nd to Magic for Goga. Then shut down Poetl until the late March or early April.

What a mess. Overpaid IQ, overpaid Jak, and your “franchise” player is terribly inconsistent. Personally I would build around RJ & Ingram at this point.
This has been a huge issue for a long time. Getting Yak back helped but running without a 5 or a backup 5 has been a major problem since 2020.
This team is stuck with so many bad contracts. We might be in purgatory.

In 6 sessons since Gasol and Ibaka left Poeltl has been the only decent center
that the Raptors have had and now he's injured half of the time and
there is no real center to back him up.
If Raptors management really has been playing three dimensional chess
the past few years then why haven't they been able to fix an obviousl problem
and ensure thaf the Raptors have multiple decent centers?
Other teams have multiple centers.
Orlando has four centers.
Is there any other NBA team that has only one true center who is hurt half the time?

Sandro has been a great signing for the Raptors but I'm worried
that he's going to become exhausted and batfered and bruised

And Barnes is too valuable to be forced to regularly help defend in the paint
because there's no true center on the court.
Come on, guys. Sure, a backup center (or centers) is important, but losing to the Hornets when Poeltl is available is inexcusable. This is about coaching. You still need to beat teams like the Nets, even without a true center.
Lawson, Alijah Martin, and Chucky barely get any real minutes. And what happened to Battle and Gradey? This is on the coach folks, plain and simple. He cannot motivate them, he is unable to find the right pieces of the team. It's unhealthy to watch those games.😢

All everyone talks about is a backup centre? Backup? We need a starting centre AND a backup. Poeltl has to go and we need to find someone else

They are wasting what should be Barnes prime years because he was this front office’s choice as the franchise corner stone, although some might argue that he’s no where near that prime or if he may ever get to it. The fact is the fumble is this management style by this front office from Masai to Webster that try to balance the scales to often rather than fix one issue at time with the roster that is glaring, it happened under Nurse and it’s looking so under Darko. It’s easy to fire a coach and make him ,the bad guy for money and roster mistakes to save your job with Roger’s rather do the hard thing like not prioritizing a age Center who you over payed for both to get him back and to keep him now the Burch effect is happening again. The mistake you’re made placing value where it should not be it is and will keep hampering to success of the overall team unless it corrected.
It starts with Bobby's roster construction… no need to sign Temple over a real backup center like Thomas Bryant or James Wiseman this summer. Mamu is a faceup PF. Then Darko's coaching, player rotations (Battle wins the Cavs game then hardly plays after the fact), and player input on roster construction… Darko apparently doesn't want players who don't fit into his cookie cutter offense. Chris Boucher should have been kept! Then the players themselves have to play with energy, effort, and execution.
Please keep in mind that the team travelled from Toronto the night before arriving at their hotel in Brooklyn after 5 am the day of the game!
Gradey can’t even play proper basketball and has the worst defense and Offense in raptors franchise history.
Immanuel, i mean the 10 assists were good but he needs to play proper point guard position and to stop taking Trae young shots every possession.
Quick needs to get traded NOW, especially cause of the Boston game where he played like a foolish idiot.
Without yak, we won’t have a center except for cmb or Mamu, who are both too small for 7 footers.
Scottie is our franchise leader, but the problem is that the last few games he scored 6 and 8 points which are considered really bad for a player like him.
He needs to play more aggressive, or we’ll basically get spiked.
I’d rather have shead as a starting 1.
We also need a starting center, like Claxton, because poeltl isn’t enough. And a backup center because if both injured Mamu won’t do the job.
The coach and the web dude needs to do this now, or else we won’t make the playoffs.
Rj needs to come back or else we will struggle a lot.
