  1. NBA owners and GM's are stupid. And that's made for some very entertaining schadenfreudian over the years. Beal's contract with Phoenix comes to mind, Paul George's terrible contract, etc. Owners smartly legislated that out of the game with the new CBA protecting themselves from their horrible GM's. The one cool thing to arise from this is, toxic players like Ja Morant, "I run this franchise" guys like Lebron and losers like James Harden have effectively become worthless. In fact, they're actually huge liabilities now. No one is going to trade for them. Their idiot agents (think James' lapdogs) have zero power. And if you are a player like Embiid, Davis or Williamson, you have basically no value because availability is the best ability. And if players do want to be competitive (other than OKC), guys like Steph Curry are going to have to accept the fact they can't take 38% of the salary cap. It's a recipe for mediocracy.

  2. Man, this is a prime example of how a player's ego is his downfall. Dude is toxic. Imagine if he's out of the league in the next three seasons or so 👀

  3. People say players peak at 27, but that’s just an average. Ben Simmons sure didn’t do it, and now Ja looks like he’s past his peak too. Norm Powell peaking at 32 or 33 though.

  4. He should watch film on Derrick Rose on the Knicks & T Wolves .. same archetype of player and reinvented himself to still be productive. Ja is still athletic too its just that teams know how to guard him better than in 2022

  5. Small guards who aren’t good on defense have little value. People are finally seeing that. I wouldn’t trade for Trae or ja even if they were free; they’re salaries would become a liability on your cap sheet

  6. I think people really love to crap on Ja
Because it’s easy and good clickbait to farm views

    Honestly who cares
This is like the Zion weight and injury thing over and over again….who cares

  7. I mean, could the problem also be the way that they’re asking you to play but you know the reason he was unhappy with the Coach

  8. Nice Ja Morant/ Grizzlies hit piece, absolutely nothing has changed in the last month. You do not watch Grizzlies games; calling Jaren a liability is funny, given that he just won Western Conference Player of the Week. They are trending up with half the roster injured right now lol.

  9. If I'm a GM I think I take the risk. But I'm not trading anything special. I'm giving up the absolute minimum. Because we've seen how good he can be. Just seems like he is showing he wants out of the grizzlies.

  10. Man if Memphis ever trades jaren Jackson I know my spurs will be ready to bounce. Would love a front court of jaren Jackson and wemby

  11. I think what you were saying at the end is the more likely outcome, Jaren’s probably the one that gets moved. He’d be a huge get for an ascending team looking for that “big move” to go from either good to great or from mid to good

  12. Probably would fit in Dallas if Kyrie were to depart. Cannot be the #1 option on a team. Would have a hard time fitting into many teams even if they have need of a PG (Phoenix). Given how the LA Clippers make decisions, he probably can find a home there if enough other changes are made.

  13. 3 years ago i said the grizzlies need to make win now trade RIGHT NOW because windows close faster than you can imagine in the nba. Grizzlies fans BLASTED me. 3 years later its over and it was the most predictable thing ever that morant would not sustain weve seen it with rose weve seen it with wall it ALWAYS happens

  14. The thing is grizzlies are still in good shape. Ditch Morant for john collins and bogdan bogdanovic and try to flip collins for something. Sell on the JJJ overpay he still has value but you have to move NOW. Start to retool with edey and colin. You could turn it around quickly

  15. Its not just Ja and Jaren but so many key players have been injured (another season of it). Jaren is very inconsistent. Ja has been not good. But the bigger issue? Zach Edey, Ty Jerome, Brandon Clark, Scotty Pippen….the list just keeps going. The team has been playing guys like Vince Williams and Cam Spencer at PG (because all of the ballhandlers are injured). I agree though, it just isnt the time to try and trade Ja. I think you'd have to pay someone to take him….I wouldnt do it.

  16. Teams would’ve traded almost anything when Ja and Zion dropped, but now who would trade for them?

  17. When you compete at the highest level, you need to be levelheaded. Everyone must sacrifice to make the team better.
