Spurs are gelling but it is still not April.
These back to backs kill us. So frustrating to watch.
I think the next game will be a little different.
I'm not impressed, at all. You played them, you know the matchup. You come back and play worse. Make poor passes, miss so many shots. The suns and knicks conquered them, and the supposed best team in the nba can't even do it 1 out of 2 times. Lu dorts 2 offensive fouls on 3 point shots were annoying. I don't remember him being a foul baiting player and it felt like he turned into that instead of just making his shots. Chet got scored on at the rim many times, even by average athletes. 7 points on offensive. Absolutely poor performance from the team. I'm not trying to be impatient or negative, but my god, to go down 0-2 in a worse fashion against the one team I cannot stand at all, it's hard not to be salty and disappointed.
When the Thunder don’t lopsided-ly win the turnover battle, their margin for error becomes razor thin. They’re not a good rebounding team and they’re a streaky 3 point shooting team. Also, the officiating is gonna dictate a lot of their games due to their aggressive play style defensively.

The truth is, OKC thrives off being more physical and fouling and hacking all night long. The issue is the spurs are capable of doing it back to them while being more athletic.
Chet is playing like shit against Wemby! This is the 1st time I'd say Chet doesn't want any of the smoke! I love Chet but why can't he shoot over ANYONE? I mean he's over 7 feet tall and many times tonight he's being guarded by Fox within 8 feet! He should be able to just turn around and shoot over the smallest guy on the court! But nope. Chet has a slow ass shot and he's not able to make contested shots! That has to change if we are going to beat San Antonio and have a great playoff run!!!
Spurs are a hard match up because their guards are just better at getting downhill ..the trio of castle,fox,Harper is too much plus keldon off the bench …okc cant keep up …spurs in the half court is damn near elite …they are almost unguardable…you gotta get the spurs to turn over the ball

Thunder need to get locked in and WANT this next game! They better get serious!
Mark need to stop putting 6'5" or under guards like Caso, Lu, AC, JDub to defend Wemby. Its a different story when u put some great 6'5 defenders on a 6'11 unathletic center that is Nikola and on a 7'6" center who can jump out of the gym that is Wemby. He is basically shooting with clear look everytime when u have all these minions guarding him. Its time to put IHart or Chet on Wemby every moment he is step on the floor. Chet #1 job should not be scoring. But defending Wemby. IHart should follow him all game and deny him the ball at all time. They both need to put their body on Wemby and make him grounded so he is not able to roam the whole perimeter like a free safety. So SGA and JDub can take the mid-range shots and attack the paint more easily.
I still don’t get why we aren’t more consistent on threes since we have Chip England. The Spurs look like they are the ones who still have Chip.

Its too early tovwrite the Thunder off. The entire league just loves to see them fail.
Shai had a better game than Wemby. The rest of the team did not. They will bounce back.
The Thunder need to work on their rebounds and perimeter defense. They have been turning the ball over much more this year. Refs are getting criticized by teams whining about physical defense so they are going to be hard on the Thunder. They get criticized about Shai so they are not going to send him to the free throw line. Shai had a better game than Wemby but he needs more help from the team.
As a spurs fan I’m just happy our small market teams might have a rivalry in the future just like we did when you guys had Kd Russ and harden, I wouldn’t feed into this regular season games too much it’s just shown the spurs are coming up but I remember when the Miami big 3 got swept in the season series against the bulls but then in the playoffs the returned the favor as of now the thunder are the goal post until someone dethrones them in the playoffs
