Something STRANGE is Going on…
The OKC Thunder have dropped their third game in the past ten days, and this one’s to a familiar foe — Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. Dominated to a degree unseen this season, the Thunder were outplayed on both sides of the ball for the first time this year in the 130-110 blowout loss. Gabriel Ebersole breaks down this loss, highlighting an empty final three quarters by big men Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren, lack of defensive activity, and what the Thunder need to address before a Christmas Day reunion against the San Antonio Spurs.

You got to remember OKC is getting beat by the Spurs with Wemby being on a minutes restriction playing 23 or less minutes each time. OKC should be worried. Even if OKC win on Christmas what will that accomplish beat the Spurs 1 out of 3 times against a Spurs team with a minute restriction Wemby that have not played more than 23 minutes each game. Spurs at full strength and OKC at full strength with no minute restrcition for no players attached Spurs is just the better team. Outside of SGA they dont get much of any production out of anyone else. J Dub and Chet is just too inconsistent. Spurs hold them both to under 20 points each both times they beat OKC and that seem like the key to beat OKC shut down their 2nd and 3rd option.
Nothing is wrong with OKC they're a great team .A healthy Spurs team is just better especially with the addition to a healthy Wemby. The Spurs just seems to have more dog about them 🤷🏾♂️. also with the new tradition that they did tonight after the game beating the drum imagine them doing that in the playoffs or NBA finals that place would explode lol. De'Aaron Fox is really really starting to impress me 💯💪🏾
3 out of 4 losses have been back to back games. I'm not worried at this point in the season.
Vic 👽 KNOWS that Shit 💩 Holmgren is SOFT 🤣👽🐐👽🐐👽
Travelling B2bs and massive disparity on FTs
Holmgren is just so inconsistent.
Its too late to write off the Thunder. They are still the champs. Back to back games with travel are hard on any team but the Thunder play with high energy. The Spurs had a hot night on 3's. They blew the 4th qtr but the refs are starting to respond to other teams whining and have decided no calls in OKCs favor. Spurs got about 15 more free throws. Really?
The Spurs will make the playoffs and so will the Thunder.
Refs are screwing the Thunder.
Choke-lahoma is back
Giannis for Chet and picks is incoming
Spurs will beat them again on Christmas. Internet will explode
Anybody else noticed that they started losing as soon as Jalen Williams came back into their lineup? It seems like he isn’t playing the team ball they were used to. Either that, or the other players got too comfortable
You Thunder fans have to realize that it’s a long, long season. Even though I’m a Spurs fan (since 1974), I still think that Thunder are the team to beat
Lol. Troll time. I guess that dynasty will only be one maybe 2 years at best. We (The Spurs) are your kryptonite and what’s even worse is we aren’t even close to our peak. Not remotely there.
Serves you right for stealing Presti and Chip. Lol. But in all seriousness this next decade will be fun. I expect it to be more thrilling for us but I can imagine we will allow success on your side so it doesn’t get boring. GSG!!!!
Enjoy your second loss from us!
It should be notable that the Thunder are at the top of the West after winning a championship. They didn't take their foot off the gas. I don't think they have a lot to worry about. San Antonio is for real, but they have other hurdles to overcome before they even face the Thunder.
Much less trips to the line. That’s the way to beat OKC. Live by the line, die by the line.
