Kolek AND Hukporti outplayed both Jerico Sims and cam payne last year in PRESEASON and thibbs really ignored it completely. As knick fan I was calling for him AND Julius to be gone for years. Thank goodness

hiding T Kolek? Knicks fans love this guy. The only reason no one knew about him is that the NBA hasn't given the Knicks TV time for the past 2 years. It's always the Lakers, Denver, OKC, and Godentstate, etc. Real fans already know all you newbies / bad wagon jumpers need to keep up.

He reminds me of Steve Nash on how he works the court and is able to do many things. Either setting up plays to making his own crazy plays. This is a kid you lock down for years because, he can do so many things. They didn't have this since Linsanity honestly. Brunson is amazing and MVP year but, Kolek can play def next to Hart can be sixth man of the year.
Mike Brown has taken the full burden of carrying the offense off of Jalen Brunson and spread the responsibility around. That's the biggest change from last year.

You have to give Kolek alot of credit . I have seen clips of him practicing with Jordan Clarkson over the summer. He put in alot of work.

Hardcore Knicks fans have been yelling for this kid to get minutes. He is THE BEST Point Guard on the team. Brunson is more of a small shooting guard. So is Deuce.

If you watched Tyler Kolek last year when he played some G league games, he was always the best player on the floor. But then he comes to the main team and Thibs has him rotting away on the bench.
I'm so glad Mike Brown is here and letting these young guys get some play in the regular season to build them up and give them some confidence for when the playoffs come around. This is what Thibs failed to do and the Knicks suffered because of it in the playoffs.

Clarkson was trash until about 5 games ago.
I knew Kolek had good ball movement & passing skills , but he is also a sneaky good scorer who uses the backboard & quickness to make up for his smaller size.
Now we see he can nail the 3 pointers as well !

I have been watching the Knicks all season, this was truly not a surprise..the dude took the opportunity after McBride was out. Then put up 20 points the first game he got starter minutes. This has been pending for at least 6 weeks.
kolek is special. he reminds me of a version of brunson back when he was a maverick.
Anybody seeing echoes of Brunson in Kolek’s floaters and middys? It’s pretty awesome to watch how teams really are an organism with how stars influence young guys.
