Bickerstaff, and the Pistons’ lack of reliable three-point shooting. JB is the problem his rotations is why he got fired in Cleveland
James harden drop 50 on this last year then we turned around and beat the Lakers hopefully we can bounce back again this year
No pressure on Leonard.. too soft
poor Ku, gonna be REALLY chapped this time of year hearing lil' Trag' talk about waiting for the development of Ron, Ivey and Asur and only having 1 shooter,
been 5 years, also–gonna REALLY hurt when Tobias is still at the 4 next year🤣
At least the Lions KNOW they have to make some moves.
28 is still young…you youngin 😂😂😂😂😂
Putting up some good numbers before the Aspiration scandal retires him
LeVert playing PG is comical at this point. JB loyalty to dude is helping the second unit.
Im old enough to be around for all the great Pistons' team. "89-Bad Boys, 90-U Can't Touch This, 2004-Go To Work.. Now-Nasty Boys!
Those 3 fouls completed locked up the Pistons
This game is the reason I was so infuriated by the Utah loss! This one doesn't hurt as much if we beat Utah. It also infuriated me to watch Kawhi hit us with his career high!!!! I've been a Kawhi fan for a long time, wishing he would have passed Lebron. I always thought Kawhi was a quiet modest killer. I wanted Kawhi to beat Lebron, NOT US!!!!!
Ku glazing over the easy early schedule like it’s not real😮😮😮
This is who this team is. Scott warned all off season there wasn’t enough three point shooting; I hope Vinson could work some magic with Ausar or Holland that hasn’t materialized or for more motion offense that also hasn’t really happened, the rest just dismissed the notion. We know who JB is as a coach-great culture, good teaching, poor in game adjustments. This game just brought it all to light. Expect more of it if we don’t make moves as the schedule does actually get tougher as we move forward. If you actually believed this squad would finish the season 1st in the East you have not done your research. This isn’t hate, I love the Pistons, just not enough to lie to myself.
I fear LeBron is going to have an Oh Kawai dropped 55, hold my beer game against us.
Kawhi was just on 🔥. No one defender was going to stop him – Ausar wouldn't have made a difference. Needed to get the ball out of his hands early and see if your rotations would work – though Our defense isn't adequate against teams with good 3 point perimeter shooters. We rely on Duncan Robinson knocking down 3s, Cade scoring and Duren offensive improvement in 1st quarter. T Harris needs to be a consistent threat within 15 ft – option to kick the ball out to others to hit the 3.
Deeetroit basketball 🏀 Kawhi had a moment. It won't happen every game
We can try to acquire shooting or trade for a Tobias upgrade, but none of that will help if JB doesn’t improve his performance as a coach.
These rotations and sub patterns are head scratching to say the least. It feels like JB doesn’t have a good feel for his players strengths which is concerning. Also, are we near the bottom of the league with successful challenges?
I know JB was instrumental in implementing our culture, but I’m worried about a festering culture of complaining to the refs. It’s become all consuming every single game. Every player on the Pistons complains after any contact, and I think it’s becoming toxic and a distraction
Not quite Darth Ku levels but pulling your beanie down over your head, maybe this can be General Grievous Ku.
If the Pistons stand pat, for sure they'll end up the #2 seed in the East, at best. Right now they are projected to go 29-21 the rest of the season.
This guy looks like Dana Beers at Barstool Chicago. Not just a coincidence the Clippers have won their last 4 games since Zubac got injured which has opened up the (clogged) middle for Kawhi and Harden to cook.
I hope Langdon is different from Brad Holmes and Scott Harris who refuses to make impact moves to help their teams the Lions and Tigers respectively.
Ausar been annoying lately. Too much talking to the refs and his energy been off.
Remember the Tigers had the best record in the AL and the big lead in their division and refused to make a move at the trade deadline to improve the team and Cleveland caught up and snatched the division from them. That cost the Tigers in the playoffs and they were eliminated in the 2nd round.
We have to be able to hit 3s reliably to spread the floor. Heck, why do so many teams play zone against us? They're daring us to shoot 3s. This team desperately needs another shooter…Our half-court game isn't great because we can't shoot, so teams collapse on Cade, clog the paint, etc. Playoff basketball relies more on half court than running teams out of the gym. If we get stops and run, we are extremely hard to beat. But playoff teams will be scoring on the other end, forcing us to play half-court basketball. Our inability to shoot and terrible FT% is a recipe for disaster in the playoffs. We should be concerned, now, not in 20 or 30 more games.
I Don't Agree My Guy🔥I Think Uncle T✨ Is Great for The Young Pistons⭐ Uncle T✨ Has One Of The Best Percentages In The Paint🏀 He's Almost Money I Will Take That Any Day⭐ & He's Good for The Pistons⭐ On a Championship Run💪🏾💯 Lenard Just Had a Great Game💥 He Was Off Last Game So Just Calm Down My Guy🔥
My expectations is a top 4 seed. Win one playoff series this year. Nothing more team is still in progress. They have an identity paint points and defense. We have to figure out the pecking order our #2 guy and #3.
Your lack of respect to Ivey is a rough listen. I get hes not your guy but he been put in a tough position and is shooting 40% from 3 on reasonably high volume. Something we need. Its not easy to shoot as he has on 15 minutes a night either. Hes not a defensive stud but hes better than Duncan on that end and matching his shooting. I really hope we trade Caris and other assets for a stretch 4 but keep Ivey. He can be a sixth man if we arent diluting his impact by playing him with Caris who he has terrible chemisty with. If we simply have one more high volume 3pt shooting forward and also have Ivey off the bench in a real role (20-25 minutes with half of it with Cade) our shooting will be good enough to win a playoff series. Thats the goal to me for this season. If we win a series its a successful year. Anything less than that is a dissapointment. I agree we need another scorer. I lowkey am tempted by MPJ. He shoots the lights out and he will be vastly cheaper in the market than Lauri or the Pelicans forwards (unless Joe D strives to do us a solid so he has a direct role in all 4 of our chips). I think the hierachy and leadership on the team will be enough to offset whatever nonsence MPJ's personality provides.
When i saw him shoot over 3 Piston defenders at the same time, that's when i knew he was in the flow state and that was that for the night.
Ku, Ausar got some of those Kawhi buckets too, lol. Don't act like it was only Tobi getting cooked!! 😂
zu we need to trade other team very slowly subac
We need a secondary scorer. Whether or not it can be JD is inconsequential when every game we don’t have one of everyone else isn’t having a good game it’s falling all on Cade. We need another person who can jumpstart the offense and space the floor.
If a move is not made, the Pistons will be a mediocre playoff team. They are not better than the Knicks, Spurs, or OKC. JB is showing right now he’s probably not the coach to get us to the finals. Idk man, I hope they figure this out.
