Agree, the thing with the Mavs is they never try to build through the draft it’s always free agency. Which we haven’t really got the best pull in free agency. After this year we don’t have our own pick till 2030 I believe. So I don’t know who we can trade for a real good draft pick besides AD and Kyrie. I’ll miss Kyrie😔

Luka 2nd year they went out and got a injured KP who was 3/4 years older than Luka and a 4/5 year older Tim hardaway when they could have waited to see what they what they could get in the offseason.. THAT DIDNT WORK for them and they gave up a 1st Because they thought Luka was good.. Then about 2 years Later got Kyrie who is 6 year older and went to the finals.. ( Yall didn’t want Kyrie btw)This team has the Vets already and yall wanna give them away.. I agree Klay is a bit out of the age range but Cooper is way more mature then ppl give him credit for
Mavs should aim at winning when Coop is around 25. That will reduce stress levels and help avoid panic moves. If they win before that, then that’s a plus.
Look at OKC and Spurs… patience is a virtue.
