IMPOSSIBLE: Can Cade Cunningham Win MVP? Detroit Pistons PATH to SHOCKING NBA Achievement

Can Cade Cunningham lead the Detroit Pistons to the top of the Eastern Conference and muscle his way into the NBA MVP conversation? Ku Khahil highlights Cunningham’s surging stats, the hurdles left for his MVP bid, and weighs the impact of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s remarkable season as the likely frontrunner. Debates heat up around Marcus Sasser’s shot creation and whether he deserves a permanent rotation spot, especially with Caris LeVert sidelined.

The episode tackles fan concerns about Ausar Thompson’s recent slump, with Ku Khahil making a strong case for Thompson’s elite defense and long-term value despite offensive growing pains. Key discussions include the Pistons’ need to consolidate their deep guard rotation, possible trade scenarios to bolster the four spot, and realistic expectations for this dynamic roster. Don’t miss this rapid-fire mailbag breaking down the Detroit Pistons’ prospects, player development, and critical lineup decisions as the season heats up.

  1. Leave Ausar alone and let him grow! Leave it to some of these people and they would have got rid of Rodman back in the day!!!

  2. I presented you with the data in the last vid and you ignored it

HE HAS THE 3rd WORST DEFENSIVE RATING ON THE TEAM BEHIND TOBIAS AND DUNCAN ROBINSON!!!!

He is not as good as you think, he provides nothing in a halfcourt offensive set, he ruins spacing for everyone

Trade him for a legitimate 4 and start Ron Holland

  3. I thought cade took a significant jump in foul drawing, but FTr around the league is inflated. He needs to grift more man they dont give him honest calls

  4. Ku cmon man, i know you see it. ausar is an offensive liability in playoff scenario. 4 v 5 in crunch time. idk why you're so hellbent on defending it. yes he's an incredible defender but it's 4 v 5 on the other end. have you ever heard of Andre Roberson? Mattise Thybulle? dare i say ben simmons??

and it's not a bad '3 game stretch', he affects the spacing on this team every single game, regardless of how many turnovers he creates.

i'm 'worried' that he's gonna end up traded or benched because our offense can't thrive with him.

  5. Cade MVP talks I love it Ku dat man has arrived for real can't wait for the shoes to drop would love to see Cade remake the first Grant Hill Fila with a version in the future. Cade has improved immensely on defense too which always I mean absolutely always gets overlooked. His shooting is awesome compared to coming from his rookie season, in he was no slouch as he was sadly overlooked for ROY.
Love your analysis for Sasser as the vision for him has opened up quickly. Daniss will be awesome next to Sasser and Holland off the bench once they ready for Ivey to slide BACK in the starting lineup instead of trading Sasser. They gotta be willing to trade some FRPs along with Duncan and Levert for that PF plus whoever we trade MUST BE on an EXPIRING CONTRACT.
As far as that Ausar rant. You know good and well these fans aren't talking about Ausar performance or being replaced in the lineup. These fans are worried about his health and future which hopefully he will continue to stride with his conditioning. He excused with me because of the altitude in a few of those West games. I can't say it enough and every fan agrees this team has won more games due to Ausar athleticism than a lil bit too.

  6. Do not listen to Ku when it comes to Ivey or players he had a bias with to start. He will not do objective analysis. Ivey plays the role well he's been asked he's wrong and he's a limited player for that. He's he plays outside the role he's wrong for that. Ku would then say he doesn't know how to play with team in the flow of the offense. Only Ku could find a way to pu pu good play. His own advanced numbers tell you he's a plus on the floor with all the core players yet he will make sure to remind you that he's not a great finisher in his limited 14 min. Find one negative thing to push his bad biased narrative. Like the TO even though Ivey is not even averaging a full TO per game. The Pistons in general have that problem especially their leader and his favorite player Ausar. It's like he's trying to find away to say he doesn't belong with this core. He creates a narrative that says well this is probably Ivey's best role based on a limited sample size. This is of indicative of what his role will be going forward or should be going forward. How does that mean that? By the way Cade should be one of the front runners for MVP. Ku I've watched you for 4 or 5 years. You were wrong about Stu, Duren, and until the injury you were on your way to being completely wrong about Ivey. Is it possible for you to be objective about Ivey at all? Look everyone is entitled to an opinion. How about giving Ivey the season before making sweeping wrong statements again.

  7. Ausar, has the POTENTIAL to be one of the modern day greats! Now whether he reaches his full potential remains to be seen. However, giving up on him at this stage in his career is ABSOLUTELY insane. Ausar, is only 22 years old. He’ll be 23 on the 30th of January. Pump the brakes on the Ausar, needs to sit conversations..Absurd..That’s ridiculous..🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

  8. Ausar looks like a modern Rodman in his 1988 form. The only thing I’d actually worry about is if he keeps missing so many bunnies.

  9. Asaur’s offensive hang ups are just that, FTs, inconsistent aggression with the addition of a faulty jumper

  10. I remember you defending cade couple yrs ago in that horrible season
    Now you gotta defend twin
    Keep up great work fam
    Go Pistons 🎉

  11. Ku extra worked up today! Not a fan of him yelling at his audience or talking down to us when it comes to X’s and O’s. I would like to see him take on a co-host or do more pre-game or post game work with other Locked On media members. It’s called a network so…network. Love your passion, just respect the passion of ur fans too

  12. When you Believe in a player you do anything to prove a point just because he's starting for the Pistons don't mean he is a great player that just means they don't have anybody better JB been sending a lot lately he's a low IQ overrated divas a player

  13. Massage Thompson is going to be a flop we should get a good player for him while Pete the league hasn't caught up yet one of the dumbest offensive players I have ever seen in my life he plays like a high schooler

  14. Ausar looks horrific on offense this year. It actually looks like he has regressed. I love him and think he’s awesome, but come on now.
