Warriors Hit A Season High 24-Threes, Could Anthony Davis Be Heading To Golden State?

Warriors Hit A Season High 24-Threes, Could Anthony Davis Be Heading To Golden State?

The Golden State Warriors hit a season-high 24 threes, propelling them to a 132-125 New Years Eve win over the Charlotte Hornets. Steph Curry led the way, but it was the play of Gui Santos, Brandin Podziemski, and Draymond Green late that allowed the Warriors to hang on down the stretch. Plus, a new report out says the Mavericks are interested in Jonathan Kuminga and willing to send Anthony Davis. Would it be a smart move for Golden State?

  1. It was a good game, if I was a Charlotte fan, there's lots to look forward to, they're an interesting team with an intriguing cast of characters on the roster. As for the Warriors, earlier this fall I suggested that it would be prudent to reserve any judgement about this team/roster/lineup until the end of January and I don't think anything has changed with that assessment. They have a number of interesting pieces, perhaps a few trade options, and we could be feeling different about our chances of making a deep run when we have the fuller late-Jan picture…interesting times.

  2. Ge i didn't watch all the game 4th quarter highlights brandon podzemski performed well, the
whole unit just keep more focused, non sloppy passing the ball tuh prevent those turnovers get in line for more rebounds

  3. AD would be perfect in a Kerr system. A talented big who sits on the bench and only plays 8 to 10 minutes a game so Kerr can keep Dray at the 5? Its a match made in heaven

  4. Again, ws have no rim protector. The Ws scored plenty of points. Hey, the bench has been very consistent over what, five out of six games. and yes Horford and Melton are coming along and should only get better. Jk for Wiggins would count as a win, in my book. JK simply doesn't have much value, imo. rightly or not. Making it to the second round of the playoffs would be a win too. Not bad! and yes Podz has played very well over a month.

  5. We were able to win a championship with Otto porter as our strech 5 playing 20-30 min
I think the Warriors training staff could help make AD not be glass and split his minutes with Post, Horford and TJD
A starting lineup of curry, melton, Jimmy, Dray/Horfard, and AD would be a problem for any team
Bench, Podz/Pat, richard/gp2/Seth, Gui, TJD, and Post (assuming Kuminga and moody are out of the picture)

  6. No AD would not be sick! I would be sick if warriors got him! He is on the bench more than he plays! Why would we want another guy like that? I don’t get it

  7. Great defense? Watch him play, Pods is a cone. Steph gets tougher defensive assessments than Podz. Kerr is treating a bench NPC like a #1 pick.

  8. Okay we won the game, but once again we were unable to put away an inferior team. We have to be able to beat crap teams decisively.

  9. The Warriors are already on the old side, they do not need to be old and too injured at the same time. Consider another trade option that can stay on the floor and not on IR.

  10. Kolskii❓ Kerrmitt 🐸 smurf lineup lost the 14pt .lead AD for Bucket less only works for a trade. Pods no more than 20 min. Per🚫

  11. A win is a win, but if we were playing against a better team than the Hornets, this would’ve been a loss a team like the Spurs or the Knicks would not go on that run in the third and then still lose

  12. The NBA is a meritocracy establishment meaning you are judged on how good a player, and this will determine how much he plays. The Warriors will not win the Championship this year because Steve Kerr refuses to play Johnathon Kuminga. So any trade you make will not get you someone who is better than Kuminga and Steve Kerr likes to sit talented players because they do not give in and play the way that he wants them to play. Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler will not be able to lead the warriors to a NBA Championship because you need 3 good players to win and the third one for the Warriors, Jonathon Kuminga, seats on the bench while every one else plays. You are looking at a team that can only go to the NBA second round like last year. And Joe Lacob only thinks about making money and not winning Championships. So there you have it… !

  13. Expectations so low for Podz that any positives like better shooting and the media makes him out to be Jordan in his prime.

  14. Games played over 30 mins under Steve " the luckiest man in basketball" Kerr: Air Podz 171 times VS Kuminga 46 times.

  15. Warriors need to trade for AD but also try to get Daniel Gafford as well. Honestly, I wish Warriors fired Steve Kerr but I know its not gonna happen. Warriors organization goal should be to win Championship #5 b4 Curry retires. They should be willing to do whatever it takes. They have been doing a horrible job at putting a Championship caliber team around Curry. Every single year Warriors are super small. This year thet added even more guards n Steve Kerr got the nerve to play them all together. He'll play a 4 guard lineup with 6"6 Draymond Green at center…. RIDICULOUS! Fire him asap. He doesn't know how to coach bigs at all nor does he know how to develop young talent. If the goal is to win another Championship during Curry era try hard to get Giannis or do the AD trade but get another big just in case. Stop holding on to draft picks n use them.
