  1. Spurs are almost a top 5 team even without Wemby. Add a healthy Wemby and they'll be scary in the playoffs. They've had 8 different top scorers in the last 10 games

  2. I hate to hurt Lakers fans feelings but they was never contenders they just played a bunch of sorry teams

  3. One thing for sure is the Knicks will choke yet again in the POs. Their defense is horrible and their fans are delusional šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  4. I don’t see how you can say offensive cold spells is why you can’t put SA in the top three than proceed to put Houston above them…

  5. Mailbag: Hey Jason, great show as always. Who do you think should be the Warrior’s trade target, to make them a more competitive team?

  6. LMAOO the Lebron to the Pistons section literally made me laugh out loud. You’re right I definitely ā€œhad funā€ with that. Absolutely shameless on so many levels.

The pistons get WORSE with that trade btw.

edit: no hater shit. love the show Jason, great basketball mind. The Lebron takes are always comical though. We all have our biases.

  7. I don’t see how the top three can not include an east coast team given the design of the playoffs. And I don’t see how the spurs can be rated lower than the rockets.

  8. Chuka!! Needs to turn back in to Luka and Bronze needs to return to Bron. Lakers will be alright after that

  9. West – OKC vs Spurs šŸ”„
    East- Knicks vs Pistons šŸ”„
Spurs in 7 against the Knicks in the finals.

  10. Mailbag: do you think the Cavs should commit to Mobley being an offensive focal point like the front office and coaching staff claims they will? As you know, short range shotmaking becomes reliable in playoff scenarios, more than a reliance on long range shot making with Donovan Mitchell. We still haven’t seen the ceiling of the current team, and that keeps the organization from making drastic changes, but it seems clear they can’t win a chip regardless. Mobley is without excuse, and needs to change his mentality, but the Cavs need to make moves as well to back up what they claim. I think a trade like herb jones and Onyeka Okognwu for hunter and Allen (no aggregates I know) could relieve the perimeter defense hole that forces Mobley to carry the defense, and add more spacing+reliable rebounding to help the front court. I would even consider a Donovan Mitchell for Jalen Johnson + assets type of trade, if you believe Mobley can shift his mindset. What are your thoughts?

  11. Jason recently had a segment on his podcast entitled NOT LEBRON'S FAULT. So now I'm hearing Jason lay a portion of the blame for the Lakers problems on Luka. Relatively little said about 52 million dollar man LeBron's poor play, horrible defense and lack of veteran leadership. Everybody who follows Lakers podcasts knows there is a civil war of words going on between LeBron fans and Luka fans. I'm sure the LeBron fans will appreciate what they heard here.

  12. If the Celtics win a chip this year I’m committing an entire room of my house to a Joe mazulla shrine

  13. MAILBAG: What do you think of Michael Porter Jr.'s fit on Golden State? Not sure Brooklyn is trying to move him at this point, but a package of Kuminga, Moody, Buddy and a pick would probably do it. He would certainly give them size, shooting and rebounding. Curious what you would think of that potential move. Thanks love the show!

  14. Mailbag: Hey Jason love the analysis. Glad to see my battered Nuggets still in contention. I need some hopium bro. Big Val just went down as well… My question is, could all this devestation of our starter-core actually be a blessing in disguise? Perhaps it will force us to develop guys like Holmes, Pickett, Watson and Strawther to the point that lots of them will be available and usable in a playoff run? I mean either way, the bench is gonna be forced to sink or swim here.

  15. Insane that injury prone Murray is the the only Nugget starter left not injured. Might end up ctually being a good thing giving the second team all this playing time, so when starters come back, they will have had a lot of reps to play together as a unit
