THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING! The Knicks are legit contenders to win the championship this season. But even more than that, they are developing the young players and they’re in line to get even more draft picks. But likely not the one they expected. NY owns Washington’s first round pick, with protections that allow Washington to keep it if it falls within the top 8. But recently, they have been winning and that actually changes everything for New York… in the best way possible! Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

    If the NY Knicks get the Washington Wizards draft pick that turns into the first round pick. They can draft a Top collegiate Center to replace Mitchell Robinson.

    Yes Knicks are hot right now but if we don’t start chasing everyone off the 3 point line winning a championship will not happen

    The pick is Top 8 protected. I doubt Washingotn is going to let it convey. I can almost guarantee the Wizards will release Middleton, and other vets to to make sure they keep the pick. Its actually not a bad thing if Washington gets a top two pick as the 2nd Round pick would be high for Knicks. High 2nd Rounders are more valuable due to salary cap, deep draft, and also the Clips may forfeit their 1st round pick so every pick moves up one. We have one first and 3 2nds as we stand.

    Nice, thanks for the update, hopefully these Wiz can win 5 or more games.

    Sidenote: I'm hoping if we go all the way(if we stay healthy I think it's pretty much a lock) that we see San Antonio in the finals, our experience would be too much for them, I see that being a 6 game series. We got a take the first two games, or at least one of the first two(if both are away) & then both at MSG to get a 3-1 lead. Better to win one at the opponents home sooner then later, the later it is, the harder it is. We need that chip!(I also rather see two teams that haven't been to the finals in awhile & like different matchups, this would be a first)

    The season is only 1/4 over. More likely the Wizards revert to their old ways and end up bottom 8. In fact, if you're the Wizards GM you'll ensure that happens. But hey, the 2nd rounder they pass on to the Knicks will be high

    Knicks getting the 9th pick in this deep draft class would be extremely exciting. We can even move up due to salary issues we could see especially with contracts of Mitch and McBride. Both deserve it.

    Wizards fan here🙋🏾‍♂️I love your energy & it’s a smart take to get clicks 👍🏿 However, CJ is being shopped as you speak & Middleton will be bought out. The Go Go (Wiz D league team) will be starting for the Wizards by the end of the season but nice try 😅
