This Atl team reminds me of the 01 sixers w Ai. (Dont kill me yall 😂) I think they need time to gel n build in order to bring out their optimal form. If they do, then theyre scary. Trae is not as valuable as he may seem. They could get picks and a straight up trade but nothing game changing. He hasn’t proved he could adapt to team basketball. He’s been through 3 head coaches, a defensive liability, unable to play with a co-star, injury prone, inconsistent, & can’t play off the ball well. The top 3 teams Trae can go to would be Milwaukee, Orlando, & Boston bc they already have a foundation & corner stone & don’t have to build one around Trae.
– Trae to Milwaukee (with Giannis) in a 3 team trade with Portland. Atlanta gets Jrue Holiday. Portland receives Kyle Kuzma, a trade exception, & picks.
– Trae to Orlando for Jalen Suggs & picks.
– Boston gets Trae Young for Derrick White & 2nd Rounders (Trae possibly won’t get the max unless he walks & goes to Washington next season.)

Sounds crazy but think about it before criticizing:
Trae+ Risacher= LeBron + late first round pick (or a few 2nd rounders)
LeBron would be able to mentor JJ who has a similar play style. He’s also an expiring contract/potential retiree. The draft capital would make things worth it for the Hawks.
Meanwhile the Lakers would have an absolutely star-studded backcourt along with an additional tall mobile young wing/big.
If Trae walks out the front do for nothing is the ANSWER. When Trae Young is on the floor he is not awesome. That is so subjective. The league doesn't think he is Awesome. Yup draft capitol second rounders and free up the money. No one is calling the Hawks for Trae. Please!

Sacramento has a few assets, or some other team that we can gain a consistent presence in the paint and a good backup pg. a pick or two won’t hurt. The drummed up AD rumors are silly. The losses actually coincide more with the time frame that Porzingis started missing more than back to backs due to his illness. That was the real reason they went on the losing streak.
If you are a real Hawks fan you know this team has a problem with not having enough size. When Porzingis is out of the lineup the Size issue's with this teams pops up its ugly head again. Thats the real issue.
We need another big Body on the team its as simple as that. Its not a Trae thing its an Atl gets small as hell in the front court against bigger teams when Porzingis isnt available.
Rebounding becomes an major issue. And Guarding the paint becomes a major issue.
