Brunson and towns are bad defensively and get exposed against good teams.
2 They don’t have athletic talent
And I am tired of towns having to be motivated every time to play well.
3 Trade for Giannis he better fits coach brown’s system
4 To have a spread out offense you need a dominant player in the paint so shooters will be open
5 plain and simple I’ve been saying it since the trade the Knicks got screwed on the trade Julius is the better player numbers don’t lie and they lost Donte too 3 of the previous 4 seasons before the trade Julius averaged more points, assists and rebounds than Kat he’s averaging more points and assists this year!

Brunson is ball dominant, however KAT needs to demand the ball and show something, anything. He's a defensive liability and when he doesn't get his points he's a total non-factor. He's soft, clumsy and he counts too much against the cap (highest paid Knick). if there is a trade to be made with goofy KAT, do it.
I told all y’all. Kat gotta go. 4 points in the first half. Bridges clearly isn’t who everybody thought he was. That wing stop shit should be stopped. Brunson don’t pass the ball and when he does nobody knows what to do with it. Offensive fouls don’t stop, might have to bring someone in to teach him how not to foul. It’s sickening every damn game

Everyone thought they were a championship level team. They won the Cup and everyone was hype. But if you paid attention like I did you saw the signs early. In the offseason we only upgraded the bench for offense. Our biggest issue was our defense last year on top of a weak bench. The defense was never addressed. Til January the Knicks got really lucky playing bum teams and good teams who were injured. Thus the 2nd best in a weak East. But while we were beating all these bad teams, the one thing that was glaring was how bad the defense was. Not only that but how many 3's we were shooting and how erratic Kat and the wings have looked. The only constant has been Brunson. I knew once we started playing better teams that were healthy we were going to have problems. Coach Brown has kept the same fight thru picks and drop coverage on defense. He has adjusted with a zone but there are times even the zone looks disgusting. He rarely calls for switching on defense because he doesnt want Brunson and Kat picking up dumber fouls that they already pick up. Mainly Towns. It's only going to get worse once we start playing West Coast teams that are stacked. Our guys have no confidence and Kat looks lost on both ends. Hart can help, but even when he was healthy our defense was poor. Just be warned there is a chance for a 6 to 7 game losing streak coming up, until we face the Blazers. And if we lose to them, I think the question is how long til Brown is fired. As bad as Thibs was he would not stand for this type of play. We havent been a good defensive team since Donte and Hartenstein left. When they were here we only had to hide Brunson on defense. Now its Towns and a few others.I hope Im wrong and they turn it around. But from what Ive seen all year I dont see us getting better defensively. I hear people saying its the Cup jinx. Its not! This was bound to happen once we started playing good healthy teams. Not good.

Knicks could trade Towns and bring Draymond & Kuminga & I think that they should. Warriors probably wouldn't want Towns, a 3rd team could get involved. Draymond would do very well in the Garden playing for Mike Brown and Kuminga can turn his situation around over time and anyway his contract expires this summer.
