  1. No shot Hawks add a 1st just to trade Trae, unless they're getting more for Trae. For Wiz, it'd at least be Bilal

  2. Trae makes sense in DC. He has gravity and would make Sarr, Johnson, Colibaly and George better. They are floundering. McCollum to Dallas for salary relief and veteran leadership. AD to ATL as a free roll this season

  3. So many things wrong with the analysis on the Warriors issues…

Jimmy and Podz are not even close to being the issues with this team. They've consistently been the second and third best players behind Steph all year long. Both have been playing even better than they did last season.

It's true their offense has been shockingly poor, but it's not because they don't have enough shot creation or because they're easy to guard and scheme against.

Their shot quality as a team has been top 5 in the league for most of the year. Guys are missing wide open looks and it's not just "non-shooters" being left open and missing.

Melton is shooting a career low 22% from three since returning from injury. Buddy is shooting a career low 32%. Post dropped from 41% last year down to 34% this year. Horford is also shooting 34% this year. Moody shot 43% from three in the first month of the season and has been slumping so hard ever since he's now down to 36%. These are good shooters all shooting worse than what should be expected of them on high quality looks.

I suspect the reason for this is because of their defense. They've been better than just good. They've had a top 3 team defensive rating nearly the entire season so far.

The problem is they have no physical/athletic advantages on that end, so they've been accomplishing that defensive rating with elite, collective execution and effort and it's likely hurting their shooting because they have no legs.

The other giant issue on offense has been Draymond. Every team knows they can completely ignore him on that end and it forces them to play 4 on 5 every time down the court when he's in the game. He's not taking advantage of the open spaces given to him and instead trying to force passes that aren't there. It's leading to many of their turnovers which is another huge issue.

He also hasn't been as elite on defense as he has been in the past. He's been solid, but he's not cleaning up other guys' mistakes at the same rate he used to.

The Kuminga thing is what it is. I don't even consider him part of the team at this point.
