As a Hawks fan…i feel really sorry for wiz fans….Trae is just a shell of himself and is HORRIFIC on the D side!!! Hawks definitely win this trade because CJ and Corey can both flat out play!!! A great trade by the Hawks…getting rid of that 50 mill next year player option was huge for tyhe CAP!!! You're getting Trae Young in 2026…not the Trae Yopung of 2024 or 2023….BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!
Hey Ben there's no guarantee that the wizards get a top pick they slid back three spots it can happen this year so they better start showing up with passion and try to win if you tank you'll slide back again the nba ain't having it this group can make the play-in why? Because they've beaten play-in teams already this year, that said I do like the trea young deal much love to CJ McCollum and Corey Krisper

How old is trae young?
I like it, they needed a true pg. This move allows the younger guys to play their natural position. Alex will be an all star next season. This gives you options moving forward, they can draft BPA instead of drafting for need. I don't see a downside
For me I just trust the process. I believe TY will unlock the potential of some players who want to win, principally: Alex Sarr, BCool, Bub C, KyG, TJ, JC, WR, etc. At PG position, it will be beneficial for for the young PG. They will learn a lot.

I’ve been a Wizards fan for 13 years and im not going anywhere, but man, I am really feeling how dropping in the lottery last season has hamstrung the rebuild. I’m already feeling the narrative that’s it’s ok to lose our pick to the Knicks this season because we have a past his prime Young and the OKC bottom of the first round pick. This team will make you drink.
As a non Wizards fan that only tuned in to hear what the Wiz fan base thinks of the trade, it actually sad. Trae is not a winning player, but the Wizards have been bad for so long they don't even care. Just give us anyone with a name and pulse. Wow…congrats I guess😂

Trae Young isn't any good. The Hawks have been as good or better without him his whole career. They are 16-12 without him this year, 2-8 with him. The ONLY reason we did this deal is to meet the salary floor next season
I understand being excited to have a really good player on the team. It seems like odd timing based on where we are in the rebuild.

I am a Trae Young fan and I am sad however I think we traded him b/c we are trying to avoid the same dilemma the Wizards were in with Beal in his last couple of years.
