Man if Zeke keeps this up, he could be tradable finally. As much as Iβm loving to see him play now, heβs not gonna provide a lot of value in the playoffs imo

When Jokic got hurt, I said my wish for the Nuggets would be that they could find out who they are without him. They've been a heliocentric team for so many years, everything orbited around him, and my wish was that they figure out how to survive the first long, Jokic-less night of many of their NBA careers. I wished that Coach Adelman would try wacky stuff and find out who HE can be when he doesn't have Jokic to fall back on.
Then Big Val got hurt too and we've seen players who'd been largely written off as "Projects" rise to the occasion and shock everybody.
I feel like I got my wish already, but I'm greedy and I'm realizing that I have another wish. Jokic has talked for years about how they play unselfishly and sacrifice for each other and for the team. I hope seeing Jamal's back to back career high assists, and Peyton's leap as a 2 way player, and Pickett and Nnaji makes him appreciate more deeply how much more these guys could be doing if they had the opportunity. I hope that Jokic eases back in and can find a way to fit himself into this team that they've built in his absence, so that the combination of "Jokic ball" and "Jokic-less ball" can merge and become something even harder to defend.
And I have third wish (I said I was greedy). I wish that Jokic sees how good this team's defense is, even when they're out matched and under sized, when they play with unrelenting intensity.

I was at the game in club-level seats. What an awesome game to see. Jamal and PWat were going off, and it felt like I was able to see everyone get a piece. Sucks that Jokic and Val are still out, but great to see Gordon and CB back again.
When Zeke N. was interviewed the other day, he said βcoach believes in us.β I also heard Joker say that he likes David Adelman because heβs not afraid to play the young players.

We owe a big apology to Booth! Now we can see that the biggest problem was Malone, not Booth. As i said, Malone destroyed so many young players with his "backup veterans only" style. It was never about the bench, it was about who was running the bench. He was a great talker, sometimes a motivator, but he was a terrible, terrible coach.

That was a very impressive win. They stuck around when they needed to and made runs when they needed to. No doubt they have a lot of character and guts. Hopefully PWat can carry on in this vein once everyone is back.
Just watch Murry with 58 seconds left in the 4th. Who's he guarding?? He might as well be sitting in the stands. You wouldn't even see that in a High School game. Its not a one-off, he does it *frequently*. There will be no championship until this type of ish is fixed (or unless you radically upgrade the roster defensivley to cover up for it). So there's absolutely no-one in the organization that can correct him on this? Head coach, Assistants, owners, team mates?
I know some pollyannas will jump and say 'enjoy the win'. You miss the point that the regular season is time to get things right so that when the playoff run starts, everything is as ready as it can be. Who the hell satisfies themselves with the odd regular season win at the expense of making a championship run? Some people are so easily satified with crumbs.
After PW miss that 3point for the win against Dallas something break in him. Now he work his ass off not to be in that position again and not be ready.

Someone is going to overpay p wat. I am not sure if he is ufa or rfa. But I am not sure we can match what he gets in the open market.
I hope the teams are blind to his potential so that we can keep him, but it's highly unlikely it happens. Gordon and braun's extension kicks in next year. Jokic will sign his super duper Uber max next year. Maths says it's very difficult, but I will dare to dream.
Deron Holmes is not athletic. I asked why we didn't play him before now I understand. P-WAT, there was a reason he was a 5 star recruit and Mr California basketball. I'm going to keep my mouth shut about u from now on. Hold on guys until Jokic comes back

Nuggets should sign P-swat asap, something like 5 years 90 millions, Murray and Joker wirh P-swat, Braun and AG looks like five that can go to war with OKC, if that means trading Cam so be it, that trade could fill some holes on the bench and get you a few assets down the road, they got four year window to attack another one, but it would be perfect to go above aprons and keep Cam, they'll never have another Joker, NEVER!
