Why can’t we just add a player (or two) and get both Risacher AND THE PICK?
If you are Atlanta you can’t draft a teenager and combine him with a fully formed roster of Johnson, Daniels, Walker, Okongwu and Krejci.
We want The pick, Risacher and cap relief. Just ask Atlanta what they want to get them to the final four.

I would rather the Hawks just give us the mid 1st rounder than doing all that. The Pelicans have zero incentive to lose the rest of this year. Their rookies could get more confident as the season goes along AND Zion is still on that team. They seem like a prime candidate to go on a "this team looks promising for next year" run at the end of this season.
