I'm still cautious about how successful the Raptors can be. The team wins against other small ball lineups but let's see some wins against teams who have more size and center depth. Let's see how the team does against the Hornets and the Sixers in the upcoming games. Speaking of size, in 6 days the Raptors have to decide if they are going to guarantee Mo Bamba's money. Does not leave much more time to really see him play on the team. Cheers Ben!

RJ is the glue that makes the starting line up work !! BI and Barnes don't have to exhaust themselves to score with RJ to pick up the slack. The whole idea of trading Barrett has got to be a none starter , now !!
I think we gotta have the serious convo of trading Jak. Jak and IQ for Domantas Sabonis🤷🏽♂️. Not AS good on the defense, but Domantas will add to an already excellent offense.

We need a center, guys will get exhausted in the end of the season battling againts taller and bigger centers. Lol
The more I look at this team is the more I think Darko actually doesn’t want to play with 2 traditional centers. Mo Bamba just seems like a guy we signed because of pressure from the media and fans so they said let’s just get somebody that isn’t going to cost us anything. I mean we past up many opportunities to draft a traditional big man, signed Mamu and still took another undersize big man that’s similar to Mogbo. This isn’t coincidental!!! While i like CMB I’m just pointing out the fact looks like a pattern here. While most people think we need another true center you have to understand some coaches are stubborn and sometimes convince themselves something can work even if it doesn’t work. We’ve seen this with many coaches in different professional sports were they will stick with sometimes others think doesn’t work until they’re fired. We’ve seen this with Casey. The more i look at this Raptors roster with so many undersize big men is the more I think this is by design and how Darko wants to play. We play a scramble, swarming, style of defense where guys switch like crazy and sometimes over help to try to get steals and having mobile guys is important to play like this which is why I think he prefers a undersized center with a long wingspan who are more mobile than a traditional center who can’t really play this way. The question is does it work ? Will it work in a playoffs series vs teams with traditional big men ? Can you afford to get killed on the boards to play this way ?
I can’t get over the curling expert pensare or whatever his name is thinks that BI is a net negative for the raps.

What I'm most optimistic about is we have 3 to 4 guys who we can essentially trade and still keep the competitiveness streak going while having enough cap space to maneuver. IQ, Gradey, Ochai are my 3 top candidates to trade for role guys who are better fits or for draft capital if possible or to trade up. Jakob is the 4th guy and he is optional because he is instrumental to the team but if a serviceable big is available I would pull the trigger or even a young big with little experience but can be trained I would give it a go so long as they are available unlike Jakob's bad back right now. A 5th option is always Garret Temple to create cap space and bench flexibility as we are moving away from the veteran on the bench era of a rebuild. All these trades have a higher likelihood of making us more competitive not less so I'm optimistic about that and this will be the true test of the Bobby Webster era of the Raptors on what moves he makes … Mo Bamba was a low risk high fit bet but these are a bit higher risk moves that go to the heart of what makes the right fit in terms of personality and skills.
Fourth place in the East but only eighth place in the West with their .583 winning percentage. They’re a good team but not any threat to win a championship.

This team needs a healthy RJ. if RJ didn't get hurt the way RJ has played, he would have been a candidate for the all star game too. This is a Raptors team that is talented and on the right path to be a contender,

CMB has a really bad game and we still won. Wow Sandro is THRIVING as a Toronto raptor. I had a feeling he would fit Darkos offence perfectly. I really hope we can sign him back. The only chance we have is if he loves it here, loves the guys and wants to be back.
Guys please vote daily for Scottie and Bi to be all stars. I just voted now and I’m going to do it every day. Both of them deserve it 100%.
Everyone keeps talking about how RJ and IQ are the issue – they aren't ya big dummees! Sound like that m0r0n JD on Sportsnet Radio, clueless and earning a cheque to talk like a confused monkee. Jak not playing hurts, can't be "big less" in today's NBA, this alone will solve a lot of those hard loses. AND their bench needs to be better and more consistent. Walter plays hard, but an energy plug is one thing a team needs, Raps need Grady to be a shooting weapon, and they need Shead to learn how to score. Raps lack scoring power off the bench – Mamu's streaky, Grady doesnt warrant his draft spot, Walter is showing us why he fell in the draft to a late 1st pick, Mogbo is a poor man's CMB, CMB is been asked to do so much for a rookie, he can't score points too banging against 7' footers, Jamison is decent but Darko don't run 3-ball plays for him when he is out there (feature his dynamic skill), so who ya left with? Lawson doesn't seem able to fit his game to the NBA level, a career 905'er, Martin and ChuckE are too raw at this point. Get size and a guy who can score off the bench and this team is cruising – can concentrate on finding that next gear so they don't become the Maple Lozers, heartless and overpaid.!
I was at the game last night great energy I’m probably one of the few Raptors fans that lives in NY so whenever I get a chance to see them play at home it’s always a good time
Daniels constantly dunked on us in the paint, why didn't they at the very least use Mo Bamba as a deterrent? Win or lose we can't simply let opposing teams walk their way to the rim.
Rj is important since Barnes and quickley are sometimes inconsistent and we don't have enough shooting
