Like I said someone told Harper to stop scoring the ball as much and pass it more . Castle lacks IQ and a mid range game , fox just look scared out there
F for me, I would like to say no one but for me Fox isn't playing like his old sac town self. I would like to see him take over games by himself. I understand it isn't the "Spurs way" and it's Wemby's team but he shouldn't really be afraid to be "the guy" in some nights.
For Harper and Castle, they have the excuse that they're still young and still adjusting to playing with pace. They look like they're rushing out there during the recent past stretch of games the team has had.

When they just played the Celtics and Castle got hit in the junk and had to come off for the last few minutes we closed out nicely…. ANYWAYSSSS
Yabu is not as good as Sochan. Maybe he shoots a tiny bit better on 3s…but our main need is not 3s from our power forward..it is 3s from our point guards..But they are all not great at it. That is why our team only can score in the paint. This limits Sochan's effectiveness and also Wemby's. Yabu will not change that at all.. Only thing the Spurs have to do is to secretly insert Nico Harrison into a team with a good 3pt shooting point guard..like Cleveland or so.

After watching most of the games since our guards have kinda been on the decline my opinion is it's just all of their collective faults. We aren't shooting well we aren't passing as well and ultimately losing Vaselle is hurting them as well. Champagnie had been alright but when he's cold he is ice cold which directly affects our guards assists numbers as well. Castle has to stop turning over the ball, fox needs to focus on his mid range game more (where he excels) and stop shooting the 3 ball. As for Harper I really think he just needs time to progress, he is a rookie at the end of the day.

Apart from Johnson, none of them are really good at 3-pointers; many are even bad at them. We don't have Vassel, who tends to shoot from 2 points. Fox is also more of a 2-point shooter from mid-range. If we take away Johnson, who is only the sixth player with 182 shots, the others are very average, if not bad. Fortunately, they are good, even very good basketball players.
I'm French, and I can say that Yabu is the main reason we reached the Olympic final. He's a true fighter on the court, capable of helping his team win tough matches. Like Keldon, he's the kind of player you love having on your team. If he comes, he'll want to show Victor that he can count on winning a title. And if the final is against New York, I can promise you they'll regret giving it to the Spurs.
Harper has a problem with physical recovery; he is still far from physical maturity, but so are Castle and Victor.That said, they are very high-level players. Perhaps we should consider using Johnson differently, depending on the context, by increasing his playing time when necessary, if the Spurs can't find a great 3-point shooter.
If Spurs trade Sochan they will regret it later. He's going to be great when Harper and Castle develop and they have additional 3-pointer shooters.
C for Castle…he's a turnover machine and I CRINGE when he shoots 3's…his missed 3's are WAY OFF and clang often into long rebounds that lead to fast breaks the other way…

Castle is troubling me right now. Fox is in a bit of a slump (Barnes too), but he can still hit a shot. Harper is hitting a rookie wall and opposing teams have figured out how to slow him down. He needs to figure out how to adjust his game. Vassell coming back will take a little pressure off and open the floor a bit, but Castle’s shot look bad. His mechanics seem off. Shooting selection all around is bad. They need to stop taking 3s so early in the shot clock and look for the best shot.
As far as trades go… I don’t see anything out there that will significantly improve the team without giving up a player that will cause a hole somewhere else. And Yabusele? Besides being French, how is he better than Sochan? He’s not. Mitch needs to figure this shit out. It’s on the coach to maximize the talent, get max effort from his players and figure out which rotations are going to work for each situation. I don’t see Mitch making any adjustments. He needs to figure out how to get the great guard play they had when Wemby was out, to work with Wemby in the lineup. It’s a problem and it’s fixable. Get it together, Mitch!
Castle and Harper fall off is due to Barnes and vessel fall of/ injury we have no shooters so they clog the pain

If Fox made that last shot everybody here would be praising him instead of bashing everyone on the team.
Only thing I see is Vasell is badly missed. These hiccups we've had has been while is has been out. I wouldn't worry about the Squad over all and the guards are all legit on pace or ahead of where we thought. Go Spurs Go! Get back soon Devin. We will be back to Rollin soon.

Because the Spurs are winning people don’t want to criticize them Fox,Harper Castle even Vassell but all of them have been inconsistent more than solid performances but the Spurs have a guy who sits at the end of the bench that has earned some true playing time.David Jones Garcia went for 51 last year 2025 yeah it was a g league game but it’s still against NBA players . Being undrafted doesn’t mean you suck it just means people are going to doubt you DJG doesn’t just score he also plays hard defense that’s what nobody really pays attention to. Coming from where he came from and having to endure what he had to endure just to be here and to have that type of talent is incredible. Mitch Johnson should really give him a good chance to prove himself. He never let him catch a rhythm in Phoenix he last played in Cleveland getting 9 points 4 assists and a steal in 10 , lately it takes Dylan Harper 2 games to do that….Im not saying those guys aren’t good I’m just saying that he has more than deserved his chance.
That's why the spurs should draft avdalas for shooting foward & quiantance/haugh for power foward trade olynik,biyombo,Mclaughlin,waters
Castle is a bricklayer and turn over machine and Harper is not good enough yet, Fox does an ok job.
NONE of the above: the guards are good, and Castle will get his mojo back as his hand heals. TRADE: If trades came with time-machines, and we could trade today's Sochan for Olympics Yabusele, I'd say do it. Unfortunately, present-day Yabusele is a bench-warmer, at best — depending on him recovering his former glory just from a change of scenery is a fool's play.

It’s Fox no question right I’m pretty sure when I looked he’s made 2/23 of his last 3pt shots I say we trade him for either future picks or young star we have our two young guards so no worries also i know it sucks cuz he moved here and all that but it’s just business at the end of the day
How can we expect our young guards to just slash and finish against a stacked paint, it's asking them to do way too much when they're 19 and 20. Our shooting is way too terrible to be winning games, shooting in the high 20s/low 30s in 3pt% is pitiful.

I honestly have to go with 'F'. With how much we are paying him, 6 for 19 on field goals and 0 for 6 on 3-pointers is really concerning. It is also a pattern for him. For being an all star caliber player, he has been unable to be a consistent threat and weapon on offense. When he has the ball, I don't feel very confident that he can get a bucket on any given possession.
Vassell and a Spurs own 1st to Indy for Toppin, Nesmith, and the indy 2nd. Nesmith and Sochan to Golden State for Kuminga.
