Why I’m NOT worried about Rockets & Kevin Durant after recent slump
Jason reacts to the Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets’ recent slump, with losses to the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings, and explains why he’s not worried about them in the big picture with KD, Alperen Sengun, and Amen Thompson still in the mix as an NBA playoffs threat.

Nice analysis
Solid points
Their defensive effort has really been terrible recently. I agree, it's just a slump from a lot of road games. We'll see how they look on this 5 game homestand. OKC, Minnesota, San Antonio (x2) and Detroit games should be very interesting.
Excellent analysis
im guaranteed that before playoff started rockets would have better records than suns
Thank you so much!
My cope tank has been emptied lately
The Rockets' temporary problem wasn't their offensive failures, but their inability to play good basketball despite lacking a point guard. Everyone realized that even the worst players on the worst teams in the NBA had incredibly large advantages against Reed, both offensively and defensively; this made it impossible for the Rockets to succeed when Reed was on the court, completely disrupting the team's balance and putting undue strain and fatigue on the entire team.
Houston, we have a problem with a lack of size and basketball IQ!
Thanks bro I was getting panic attacks 😢
Rockets need to make a trade. Need to upgrade from Jabari Smith Jr. – weakest link in starting 5 who does nothing elite (rebounding, offensive creation, 3P% or finishing). 6'11 starter needs to average more than 6 boards and on top of that, Jabari has never been better than league average from 3P. His shooting funk is just a regression to the mean. After almost 5 seasons, he is what he is.
You still think Stephon better than Amen
They dont beat good teams. Need an athlete that can create besides Amen. They struggle in crunch time for the same reason.
lol rockets are cooked. They can win or lose games, who cares not champions. They don’t have right principles. Udoka is borderline crazy and Kd thinks he’s just as good as Jordan. Team delusional
This is why I'm not worried about the Thunder as well.
