The Golden State Warriors May Have Actually Found Something Here

As you’ll find out shortly, the Warriors could easily be 11-0 over that span of games. While he’s hated on to an extremely high degree, Steve Kerr’s motion heavy offensive system is working lately, and that was displayed in Stephen Curry’s 27 point masterclass against the Kings where a flurry of role players chipped in. Stay tuned

  1. Been going over some old videos of the 2015 to 2020 Warrior and I forgot how utterly dominating a team they were, basically finishing teams in 3 quarters and then seeing a lot of garbage time in the fourth. So this Kings game was something of a throwback to those times which I sometimes get the impression most of the fans of the Warriors today grew up with. I, on the other hand, know how singularly unique this actually is for the Warriors given their long history….and it has to be attributed to Steph Curry. In that game against the Kings he still does stuff that is jaw dropping. I remember a time in the NBA where a big goal was to not let a guy get dunk, because his confidence would grow and the game could be that much harder. Today, it is more about limiting the three pointer (my how the game has changed) and it can be statistically shown that Steph Curry single handedly had everything to do with this shift. The down side is that he is 37 and there is only so much time left. Appreciate him now, while we can…..no matter how good some of these young shooters are, we may never see another Steph Curry again.

  2. I’m still trading podz and moody stop overhyping them they’ll be inconsistent once again and they can’t hit open 3s to save they’re life

  3. Dude a win against the washed 2 point guard future hall of famers on the Kings isn't a good win at this point, it is expected. The Kings are very weak at the point guard position and getting exposed when facing legit point guards and even more exposed against a still peak playing future Hall of Fame point guard on the Warriors.

  4. This 8 game home stand with no back-to-back nights is a real opportunity for me the Warriors to pick up for some wins. Time to bring it all together and get into the heat of this packed Western Conference race. I excited for the rest of the season!

  5. Shout out to Draymond Green he has actually been a threat when left open and punishing teams for leaving him open this year.

  6. A home stand with rest and few if any back to backs is when an ancient team like the dubs will look better but the Kings are back to being an almost intentionally woeful excuse for an organisation so a win over them is no indication of competence these days.

I'm sure once the team is back on the road and once again in a harder part of the schedule the .500 ball will return as expected.

  7. Most ppl want Podz off the roster n for good reason… 27 mins and 6 points. Or 22 mins and 2 pts but when he gets one good good, It’s the golden globe awards. Let’s be honest. He’s Kerrs lil ting.. his stepson, the next curry and so much more… so let’s cut this whole hope he’s getting traded. If Kerr didn’t do it for Lauri… Podz not getting traded for MPJ.

Be honest tho ppl. Ur playing with ur boys and bp n jk show up. Money is on the line, who u picking?

  8. When are we going to stop not talking about Kerr has to go. You can't tell me that you're a good Coach and you can't figure out how to play jk.

  9. As if nobody already knew 4 years ago, that 3G, 4G, 5G, and 6 Guard lineups dont work.

They have played too many clutch games, and of the 50% they have lost, most should have never been close enough to be called clutch, had lineups been rational.

They have a dominant offensive scheme, but regularly had too much smallness on the court.

  10. I know they play the Kings defense dflow but since December 20th the warriors have been playing great basketball and won 8 of there last 11 games and really playing well in January only losing 2 games this far and 2-0 on this home stand as they try to go on a run during this 8 game home stand but so far so good going 2-0 there.🏀

  11. Kerr always reverts back to small ball, maybe he'll listen to his own words, and look himself in the mirror

  12. Gui the ultimate glue man is transforming the team. It took Kerr 40 games to realise playing a big, athletic guy at PF is important. Death to 4 guard line ups!

  13. Podz is a great player. Based off of effort and energy alone. He makes smart decisions, plays tough defense, knows where he needs to be on the floor, rebounds better than guys like Kuminga who has to be TOLD to rebound.. The only thing Podz was doing wrong was he was trying a little TOO hard because he just badly wanted to help the team. People argued with me for months that he was terrible and should be traded. But that just further proved these social media critics have no idea what they're talking about. Judging a guy's entire existence based off a few week stretch. Even when he wasn't scoring he was still getting steals, drawing offensive fouls, crashing the paint and getting ridiculous rebounds he had no business getting etc. He's gonna be a great young piece for the Warriors moving forward.
