  1. Well the Nuggets messed up not extending him early. He will easily be offered 20+ million a year if not 30+ mil a year.

  2. just a little bit less flashy transitions, killing eyes man.. other than that, great video..

  3. Christian Braun needs to come off the bench and Watson start at the 3

    Jamal/Bruce
    Cam/THJ
    Watson/Braun
    AG/Spencer Jones
    Jokic/Valenciunas

They obvious gonna stagger starters with bench players, but the Nuggets should be a 10 men rotation for playoffs.

I honestly see the Nuggets trading out Cam Johnson to create space to keep Watson

  4. If we can get rid of zeke naji contract and let bruce brown go we can afford his contract.. he likes denver hopefully he stays he can help form a big 3 with joker and jamal

  5. If they can win the championship this year, it won't be as critical to keep him next year. If they don't win the chip it will be critical to keep him on the roaster. Not a bad problem to have.

  6. they can trade away Cam and Nnaji to make room for him, maybe Brown and Val won’t be in Denver anymore next season, so I think they might still have the bag to keep PWat

  7. Nuggets cannot let P-Wat go. Pay him what his skills demand. Don't repeat previous mistakes. Trim elsewhere. Seriously.

  8. Also few of his important qualitys are that he is down to earth guy, listen his seniors, think with his head, he learn from Jokic and other seniors, and we can see that he is better every game.

  9. So Peyton actually replace Cam Johnson at the Small Forward, not Christian Braun at the Shooting Guard. Now Coach A has a situation. When Cam gets healthy… does he get his starting spot back? Because so far, this season at least, Peyton is outplaying Cam in nearly every facet of the game at the Small Forward/Wing.

  10. His 2 way potential is his value. He has maximised his chance at climbing the ladder and will now earn a decent contract thus a future in the league. Very clever

  11. I traded him last year as a throw in, the owner then dropped him before the season started, guess who’s team he’s back on 😂

  12. I keep thinking that if PW keeps playing like this for the rest of the season it could be an option to trade Jamal. Denver doesn't need more fire power. They need defence.

  13. Over the last 7-8 games, Peyton has legitimately looked right up there with Aaron Gordon as the 2nd best player Jokic has ever played on the same roster with, outside of Jamal Murray. He has been THAT good. Obviously its a small sample but if he keeps up this level of efficiency with 70% of his current production whenever Jokic gets back, then I think Denver is gonna win it all.

I mean with his defense, averaging 24/7/3 on 49/46/70 shooting splits over 7 games is CRAZY work from Peyton. We've gotta figure out a way to resign him or match his RFA contract. I don't care what we have to do to create the space, or even if we have to go into the 2nd apron… we gotta keep Peyton.

  14. Bro, been watching basketball for almost four decades now. I have only seen the best or second best player of a team win player of the week or month. That's impressive af since they missing a lot of players the past few weeks.

  15. No one noticed that we have also Holmes in the team, Watson and Holmes cannot be separated right ?

  16. If he wants , he will stay. Duncan and Ginobilli were taking paycuts just to hold together a team.

  17. "But here's where it gets wild"
    "Then, the unthinkable happened"
    "It's not just X, it's Y"

I'm tired of these AI slop scripts with the same language works over and over, reads like reddit but even worse…

  18. I think Denver needs to trade Cam and sign Peyton. He is home grown in the Jokic system and as a starter and an ascending player he can fil Cam’s shoes. He will need to continue to improve his skills to make up the offense but he is a much better defender. He is capable of handling and distributing. He is who you keep. I like Cam and loved the signing but I never thought Peyton would take this leap this year. I always thought his ceiling was high but this is crazy. And I don’t believe it is just a peak. Great job covering P Watt. Always love your coverage. 🤙🏽

  19. Denver shouldn't become the victims of their own success. What's the point of developing a talent only to lose it? That's failing upwards. I know this is the paradox second aprons and contract issues create but trying to solve it seems worth it.

  20. I want to dream about what a 100% healthy Nuggets team can do in the playoffs, but they currently have FIVE crucial players in various stages of rehab for significant injuries. I can't see this team being at full strength at any point this year. The silver lining is that players like Watson and Pickett have been allowed to flourish. The depth and versatility for Denver will be off the charts if they can get everyone back.
