I like when Hunter gets into a kerfuffle w opposing players. It always means he's going to play better. Every time.
Didn't Bobby Portis break the face of his team mate in a pre season fight? Is that how he got transported out of… Chicago (I think)
Good stuff Mack. That last trade would be something pretty special, but I agree that it's far fetched. I just want Hunter and the Cavs to get this thing figured out, and I want the De'Andre hunter who felt like he could just play freely like the Hunter who played in Atlanta.
Mack, bear with me complaining about Koby.He's has blown it, and I'll tell you why. He hasn't tried to put together a roster that has it's own identity. We keep talking about identity and we don't have one. Koby is behind the ball. He traded Caris and Niang for Hunter (when they were 44-10) because we were supposed to go up against the Celts. Then Tatum goes down. Would we have been better with Caris than Hunter v Indiana? Then, Koby thinks we have to deal with Indiana and gives up our best perimiter defender, Okoro, for Zo to handle Indiana (even thouth Tyrese went down before the trade!) and he lets Ty walk. Koby is not creating a chemistry with this team; he's looking at how to deal with our "weaknesses" anticipating what happened the year before in the East (first, the Celtics, then the Pacers). It's like he's tries to play catch up when things change. He destroyed this chemistry, and now, realizing we may have made a mistake, we're talking about bring Georges back! At the end, we'll probaby dump Dre and Zo for 2nd picks to deal with the apron. Ugh! But atleast admit you made a bunch of mistakes K. I know you liked both of those trades Mack, but with all due respect, I didn't like either of them at the time. . . . because we destroyed an amazing chemistry and made trades anticipating ECF rivals that never made it because of injuries. Tell me I'm wrong
