I would ok with IQ and Jacob Poeltl for AD..u get rid of 2 bad contracts for a established Top 10 player, sure his injury prone, but with Raptors medical team I have faith he'll be enough contributor in regular season, we just need him 2 be healthy for the playoffs. Remember Lebron doesn't win that championship without AD. His the reason LA won it.

the report says AD wants a supermax extension of 4 years 275 million. also to eat yaks contract dallas wants 3 unprotected picks. add IQ thats 3 more unprotected picks dallas wants to eat his contract. then after you pay AD 5 years 330 million cuz he has a year left, you would have to give up another 2-3 unprotected picks to move AD in 3 years with what is left on his contract. probably trade ingram or sb to get those picks to get off his contract.
then the raptors can start a 5 year rebuild with a complete tear down with a new gm. its a win win.

Ok only way I do this is IQ + Jak P = AD + Ryan N. Move R or AJ to reg contract. Trade Ochai + second for a min type PG to help Shead and Ryan.
I would not sign him for max . I would offer 58 next year then 3 extra at $50 mill even. That pays him until he is 37 that is a very good contract.
If he doesn’t like it he can be traded after next season as expire. If he was his great self and played 70 games a year maybe but that is not his history.

no thank you. We are here to win games and push ourselves for the playoffs. AD is gone for a few months and his contract is arse for the amount of games he plays plus he is way older now. I take Gafford though for the center postion. I rather take my chances with Ja Morant over AD.
Listen RJ is trash….he needs to be traded asap. The only thing he's good at really is driving to the net, other than that, you can't really depend on him with the three pointers, it's like 25% chance it goes in at the 3 point line IF HES FULLY OPEN and that's if it even goes in
