I still want the Pels Trey Murphy III for Vassell (HURT AGAIN) and salary match bench players named Olynyk and/or Barnes. Vassell's minutes go to the cheaper Julian Champagnie and Carter Bryant.

This is a team that had 7 different leading scorers in 12 games. You cannot guard a team that shares that ball selflessly to a teammate with a hot hand. That is signature Spurs basketball. That championship will come. It's only a matter of time. Wemby, Stephon and Dylan are just kids but already giving opponents hell.
With them young guns in their roster atm easily 4-5 championships in the next ten years
5:15 to be fair, Wemby’s whole career has been under minutes restriction.

The best thing is: aside from the underdog becoming a hero, aside from the good contracts and the good season, aside from the once-in-a-century talent Wemby: it's just so much fun to watch! LeBron and OKC and the Nuggets have also been incredibly good in recent years, but above all they've been efficient in terms of results and not so great to watch. The Spurs, on the other hand, turn every game into a party!
Kawi was in the last 2 finals. He did help build a Dynasty. If anything, he broke a dynasty. Without Tony, Manu and Timmy, Kawi could not maintain the dynasty.

Aussie Spurs fan here, I think the only thing that can stop the Spurs is if players let their ego and pride go before the team. Hope that they don’t and they stay together for the next couple of years and a couple of rings to go with it… but I reckon the only thing that will derail the Spurs is ego and pride

Im a real Spurs fan since 1988 got to see all the 3 arenas i can say this team is like an old school Spurs big3 prime but with swag they are a fresh, flashy, cool Spurs team, the last time we had some flashy fun team was early Robinson days, and before with Ice, but this team is something else, they make what most dumb media would say back then with Duncan ¨ Boring ¨ look cool

Growing up I only rooted for the Bulls and the Spurs. While athleticism and fancy hero balls was becoming a thing, there were many detractors saying the Spurs are boring. I laugh that off. I think they were methodical, probing the defense.
And now my Spurs are becoming relevant again.
Yoiu can take Kawahi off that list. Traitor to the cause… If he would have stuck around, he'd be with Wembanyama… But instead, he's chilling like a villain…
I watched Spurs many times. They are not finished article, not even close. Here are problems. Perimeter defense. Three point percentage. Movement of the ball by Wemby. For example, Kortnet is much better in this regard. Connection between guards and Wemby. Absence of classical forward.
Love the Spurs and I’m a Dubs fan. Dubs dynasty is over. Good to see a great young team built from scratch. Wemby is awesome, Dylan Harper is a stunning two way guard. Go spurs. Stay healthy. OKC and even the Knicks are gonna be trouble.

What’s amazing is that even when they have nights that they don’t shoot well they keep the games close and even find ways to win them!
totally after they just fumbled and choked away a 19 point lead and dropped 18 the whole 4th quarter for the Wolves to come back and win dropping 33 in the 4th to win 104-103 ahhaha
