trade dennis and make play russ 36 minutes and monk 6th man… is not late for a run in the play-in that makes grow young players in competion games
I Told You Matt. Once You Left Locked On Kings We Started Winning. When U Went On Vacation, We Started Winning. You Were The Curse Bro 😂
Tanking assures u nothing what did the Pelicans Wizards Hornets got after years of tanking
52 – 30 Let's gooo!
F the tank! Mavs drafed Flagg at #1 with 1.8% chance.
Great show as always, Matt. Thank you for providing us with your insight on various King's information.
I thought I saw this man’s last kings video the other day 🤔 😂😂😂 just locked on kings video ?
If Kings Fans want these highly paid veterans to be traded the more they win Games the WAY EASIER it'll be to trade them.
If Kings won 16/20 trading Derozan, Monk and Lavine would be significantly easier.
I didn't know You were pro tank Guy so I'll keep my opinions to myself. By pro tank if you mean fielding lineups that have a low probability of winning but the players and Coaches still play TO WIN then I'm cool with that.
But the fanbases that insinuate that they want the players to somehow purposely lose so Coaches and Gm's get criticized and fired and the players and everyone else are miserable I'm not down with that at all.
Both finals teams last season
Okc starting lineup
Hartenstein- late 2nd round draft choice
Lou Dort – UNDRAFTED
Jalen Williams- 13th pick first round
Shai Gilgeous Alexander- 11th pick first round
Chet Holmgren- 2nd overall pick first rd
Cason Wallace- 10th overall 1st rd
Their bench
Caruso- Undrafted
Isaiah Joe- late 2nd round pick
Ajay Mitchell- late 2nd round pick
Shai was acquired via trade and was selected 11th. Lou Dort and Caruso their two all defensive nba players were Undrafted.
Hartenstein I'd take over Chet any day of the week was late 2nd round pick.
Jalen Williams was 13th pick.
Other NBA team finalist last season Pacers
Andrew Nembhardt- 2nd rd draft pick
Pascal Siakam 27th pick 1st round
Tyrese Haliburton- 12th pick first round
Myles Turner- 11th pick first round
Aaron Nesmith- 14th pick first round
Tj Mcconnel their best bench player- undrafted.
Indiana Pacers Benn Mathurin was their first top 6 pick since 1989. They've made two finals appearances and TEN eastern conference finals appearances in that time frame as a small market franchise that has only signed TWO players in free agency that had a huge impact in Siakam and David West
I get a top 5 pick increases the chances to getting A Cade Cunningham type player but how many Cade Cunningham's have been in the NBA the past 50 years?
Detroit was THE worst team for his first 3 including an NBA record 28 game losing streak.
Jokic, Jimmy Butler were 2nd rd picks. Giannis was a late first round.
The draft isn't an exact science. I'm just not a fan literally at all with franchises losing games on purpose. Utah and Brooklyn have been losing teams for 4 seasons now.
The process in Philly hasn't even made an eastern conference finals and their two overall number one selections in Fultz and Simmons aren't even in the league anymore.
Michael Jordan never forgave Chicago franchise for trying to tank his 2nd season and keep Bulls out the playoffs but they made it last day of season.
Thats the playoffs Jordan scored 69 and 63 points AT BOSTON who won the championship that year.
I do get what your saying though I just HATE tanking. My mind isn't wired like that at all.
Matt, please refer the Royal Report guy to locked on kings. He has it man. Dedicated and bleeds purple. Love the new show. Thanks for all you do.
Playing Monk changed everything
Different podcast, same old Matt George killing vibes again 😂. JK
With Dennis out, no more 3 guard line up that I hated. And significant playing time for Monk.
The Kings do look like they are playing better, and I’m sure this will boost their confidence. But it’s fools gold to me. Knicks lost Brunson early, then looked confused until the 4th quarter. The defense of putting Westbrook on Kat probably confused them too. Both the Knicks and Lakers missed open 3’s.
Knowing the Kings though, once they start getting in the groove, Scott will yank the rug under them, make trades, and change the dynamic of the team.
Let These Boys Ball! They Cookin’ , if they FIGHT back into a playoff position, they EARNED this ride into the play ins/Playoffs
Super team, just took a little longer to get there – Divac
Being outside the top 3 at the end of the season would mean this whole year was more of a failure than we even imagined. Absolutely catastrophic week for the kings
Why are we pretending like Dallas didn't get that pick for sending Luka to LA for nothing? Do we still think santa delivers Christmas presents?
#Ahh4AJ
Rim protection. We finally have rim protectors. We have not had this for some time.
Never practice losing
Losing monk breaks my heart. I don't understand why he is not part of this formula.
It’s just one game. The NBA season is a grind, eventually good teams will lose a few games. Especially when they think it’s an easy win. It’s not like the Kings are going to lose all their games. Losing 55 games feels like what they’ll end up with. That’s still bad.
Waiting for some investigative journalist to uncover a secret NBA memo to other teams, Kings will not be allowed to successfully tank and pick AJ Dybantsa. Easiest way to throw a game is to just miss your threes…
Were not that far away from a play in spot
Vivek: "we're winning now, let's sabotage our future and trade everything for Morant" 🫨
Let's be honest the NBA chooses who gets the number one pick and they're not going to choose Sacramento. So I want to win and get the 5th spot because I want Fleming's
Boooooo 👎
I honestly feel like its a win win situation right now, because when we lose we just increase our lottery odds and when we win, i'm happy as a fan. As far as Dennis coming back, I still want to see Monk out there. If anyone's minutes get cut, I hope it's Lavine's.
Trade them all, winning 10 more games this year would push us back 3 years. Getting a top 3 pick is the most important thing right now
Cardwells improvement and Malik getting more minutes is a huge factor in this win streak if you ask me.
I thought the complaint a couple of weeks ago was this was the most painful team to watch in Kings history, now it's they're winning too much. The NBA season is such a long arduous journey, especially when you're in the mud, and life is too short to be stressing about some wins when you're 11-30. Just enjoy seeing some fun out there.
