They now have NO other choice…
We have a major OKC Thunder news update as Ryan Breeden discusses what the Thunder’s approach needs to be at the trade deadline with today’s injury update on Jalen Williams (JDub). Oklahoma City has run into some weaknesses as of late, and the window is soon going to close for improvements, Ryan argues the importance in Sam Presti to add some help around Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA), Chet Holmgren, Ajay Mitchell and the team — especially with the current injuries of JDub and Isaiah Hartenstein. The Thunder have many matchups with the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons coming up, so the 1 seed is no guarantee in the western conference.
Thunder Digest covers the latest reports, news and rumors regarding the Oklahoma City Thunder. If you want to stay updated with every trade, move and tidbit on players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Lu Dort, Alex Caruso, Isaiah Hartenstein, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, Mark Daigneault and Sam Presti.

But start Ajay Mitchell. (Right?)
Sam Presti never sits back and hopes, never sits on his hands. In Sam we trust.
I hope it's just a minor strain, but on the Trey Murphy front, yes, the pelicans said they won't move him as the saying goes, "Every man has his price," and The Thunder have more assets to do anything they want and still have plenty leftover.
Dude thank you for your great commentary and putting these videos together very much have I’ve been saying the same thing and it makes sense but yet I’m getting cast away by other Oklahoma fans brutally here! Thank you again
We need a shooter and a backup rebounder…
Ryan that's the problem. People are freaking out because they look human. They forget the fight that you all had last year the fight you had to do to get through the playoffs this is another season you're going to have these things.
This thing that everybody's talking about when you had that incredible start to begin everybody in the loop knew sooner or later you're gonna come down the earth and you have but you still have a 5 game lead and the best record in the NBA Sam Presti is not stupid but he's not gonna go out and make a trade just because.
The question remains is and this is the question that you should Ask yourself not if you can do it what do you should do it.
If it is a trade, it shouldn’t be for a headliner but it should be for someone of a similar ilk of a Hartenstein or a Caruso type crafty signing that would be a great fit.
Only guy that makes sense to trade is Dieng. Even tho I wouldn't trade him either unless we get a good deal.
Ryan. He's not lying. He's giving you the facts you're taking it to another level and 1st of all you're not in a potential dynasty.
You won 1 championship that does not guarantee dynasty not in the NBA today We have not had a repeat champion going on 8 or 9 years in the NBA what makes you so sure that you can repeat even if you do get through this. Can you answer that question.
And if you buy into the national media narratives that they want you to buy into you're making videos just like this. You are still not guaranteed anything no matter what you do there's always somebody that can beat you. When you understand that and believe me Sam's been in this business longer than you have He knows how this can go From Ryan he came out of San Antonio he learned from Gregg Popovich. And I'm quite sure he's thinking about things like that but he doesn't need you to tell him how to do his job. And with all due respect that's exactly what you're sounding like
What is stopping you guys from cashing in some of your assets and getting Antetokounmpo? I would trade Chet and a filler with 5 firsts in a heartbeat, no one would mess with this team if they did that
I think jared allen would help on the offensive side of the ball
I think yall over thinking. They are 35-8. Every team is gonna play okc super hard. Its not gonna be a perfect season rather u go for a trade or not. Because a new player would have to fit into a new system right away
Ousmane should be the only available player. So, who is the best return at $1-6mil annually…
Signing Chet to a max is one of Presti's few mistakes. It's clear he is a 3rd/4th option and is not consistent enough to be a 2nd option in the absence of JDub.
Topic will be back in March
jdub is overpaid
They'll be fine. Topic might be back before Jdub. They'll have 2-3 1st round picks and might move someone. They have a ton of options.
Charlotte just beat Denver 110-87 at Denver tonight. We’ll be fine. How much do we give up doing a panic trade? We have depth.
We have shooters. We have rebounders. Don’t give up the farm just to repeat if it depletes you for the future. It doesn’t make sense in the long term.
I am glad someone is finally saying this! We have so many assets. Let’s use some of them and not squander this opportunity.
Should’nt have to trade . Chet should step up
This team is not a dynasty u need three rings to even be considered a dynasty…
Murphy would be good but very expensive (asset-wise); also, I don’t see why NO would want to trade him. Monk would be awful. Most of the centers you listed would either not get minutes on this team or don’t fit what this team does. Presti isn’t going to sacrifice the long term flexibility of this team based on a rough stretch in December and January.
From a Spurs fan …i totally disagree. You sound desperate and I honestly think OKC is still in good shape. If the Spurs have missed a lot of games this season due to injury and still managed to compete; I find it hard to believe OKC will drop too many games with current injury status. Can't believe after winning a championship you'd sound overly concerned to force a trade, especially if it involves any of the rotation players. Draft picks…. Maybe. But still seems unnecessary
Goated video, many OKC thunder fans are too ignorant but a trade must happen now,
I think trade Ihart and maybe Dort to avoid giving picks for MPJ, but again my opinion, MPJ fills the hole at PF and gets SGA a proper second option
Carlson is a solid replacement to Ihart and has a 3 point shot and plays good anytime hes on the floor
9:54 I like this part but you forgot Mitchell Robinson, hes one of the greatest offensive rebounders, and fits the teams culture perfectly and better on defense and arm length than Ihart and lob threat
Spurs are #2 not 3 and central Texas owns Oklahoma😂 go Spurs go 🤘hook em
Mad respect for being the only Oklahoma City fan I have seen point out the fact that Denver thought the same thing and Boston thought the same thing except Oklahoma City fan seem to have arrogance about it😂 i’ve been trying to tell them the Boston Denver thing, but they ignore me every time I bring it up
Did you say the Celtics beat the Warriors in the finals?! I think you meant the Cs.
Ryan shut up ur mouth. As if you know more than Sam Presti.
