JA makes his teammates better and his team better! Should listen to him! If anything fire, the medical staff, and the coach! JA was right all along! I never wavered with my support for him! True fans know this!
Maybe this coach is starting to listen! But some games it seems like he’s listening and the next game his rotations go downhill
JA loves Memphis, and we love JA! How many players have a tattoo of their team on their back? What does that tell you?
I know realistically nobody wants Ja to get hurt. Maybe I'm projecting here, but if a fan wants him gone, they believe he'll never be able to stay healthy. This low key means, if he gets traded. Most of those people will be forever hoping for his downfall so that they'll feel secure in their decision to give up on him.
If we think the roster is good and the recent game showed that the coach knows what's up, what makes us want to get rid of the GM who put together the roster and hired the coach?
Its seems like we are stuck with Iisoalo & Kleiman. If we don't make a trade I think we are stuck in play in level until someone like Ja and Jaren demand a trade. We should not trade Wells, he is just not ready to be a high level starter. But Aldama on the other hand should be traded. His value is high. Aldama, KCP and a 1st round pick for Michael Porter Jr. is a no brainer. I think JA would average 10 assist per game. A backup PF/C to put in rotation with Landale. I like Clarke but he stays hurt to often. Memphis has to many mid level contracts. They can be combined for one impact player that improves the starting lineup. If we depend on rookies & 2nd year players to carry us, more 20 point leads will be blown and we'll continue to lose to non playoff teams.
They played really well yesterday, but getting rid of Kleiman is crazy talk. Y’all get too high when Ja has a good game. It’s not about being good for one night—it’s about being good over the course of a season. It’s about being available over the course of a season.
The front office has done everything possible to build around Morant. Every major decision has been made because of him. After the gun incident, they knew they needed more vets, so they moved on from Brooks. They tried Smart and Rose in that role. Bane wasn’t a strong defender next to Ja, so they made moves to put a better defender beside him. We also have to remember this is a business—some players simply got priced out.
Kleiman has made mistakes, but overall he’s done a solid job. Meanwhile, Morant hasn’t been available and has been a headache at times.
This team fully healthy with Morant can beat OKC, in my opinion. But this team fully healthy without Morant is still good. Fully healthy without Jaren is still good. Fully healthy without Edey is still good. The real problem is that they’re missing too many key players at once.
Kleiman has built a winning roster—it just hasn’t been healthy.
Jenkins and Tomas are basically the same coach, just with shorter rotations. It’s the same offensive scheme running through the guards. The defensive scheme is the same too—leaving NBA shooters open at the three.
But we’ve got to stop acting like this roster and these moves weren’t made because of Morant. They absolutely were. Every major decision has been centered around him.
If anyone needs to be traded its definitely Jaren. How can this dude not average a double double. Oh yeah he to busy on the perimeter trying to be Steph Curry!
If we’re fully healthy and clicking on all cylinders we’re a championship contending team ion care what nobody say
The primary need for the Grizzlies is health. As far as trades are concerned, none of the core of the team needs to be traded unless it is an offer that is too great to refuse. The team and coach need an opportunity to play together, healthy, and build chemistry before making a determination to rebuild. This team, as it is currently constructed, would be a top 3 team in the west right now if everyone was healthy.
Ja was on a 30 minute restriction so Iisalo did nothing different. This game is the Ja effect. Also, we just need to fortify our front court because it seems that we can't have BC and Edey on the same team with these injuries. And we should trade our entire training staff for a working one.

Iisalo isn’t a problem. He is a rookie nba coach and working with a team that has been decimated by injury.
Yeah, Kleinman always has a guilty look on his face and never seems to smile. Seems sketchy to me..

Not sure why the media is focusing on JA behavior but look back into history there where teams that had issue with key players and they stayed on the team and figure out how to compete for example ( Bulls , Lakers ) Dennis Rodman , Ron Artest. Ja just needs a good veteran player along his side and show him how to accomplish getting the chip and help penetrate the offense.( better 2 man )
