Matt please don't get sucked into hot take territory. I understand there are rumblings that things may be done in Sac from some camp within the walls of the Kings org. However, the reactions to guards of value not getting minutes when WE ARE OVERCROWEDED AT GUARD is exhausting. Someone HAS to sit. Monk, Keon, Zach, Dennis, DeRozen, Russ are all players deserving of 20+ mins. Someone is going to sit and I no longer understand why we keep saying "confusion" when it's clear by contract and leverage, Keon or Monk sitting when everyone is healthy makes sense.
Because if or should the Kings give Keon a $40 million dollar deal at extension time then this narrative completely changes and nothing but what's been publicly said has changed.
