Mazzulla’s Panic Sub: Why Put a Non-Shooter on the Floor for Game-Tying 3?
I keep seeing people praise Mazzulla’s “genius” substitution of Hugo Gonzalez in that overtime possession, but let’s break down what actually happened here. Why was Amari Williams – a non-shooter – even on the floor when you desperately need a three? The panic sub worked, sure, but watch the film. The Nets had zero organization on defense, Pritchard looked completely lost, and what followed wasn’t any drawn-up play I’ve ever seen. Sometimes chaos works in your favor, but calling it brilliant coaching? That’s a stretch. The real question is why it took until the last second to realize you had the wrong personnel out there.

Dear Coach.
You should link the full video in the bottom of the SHORTS like I've seen ither channel do.
Coach Nick and his bias against the Celtics, even with his mortal nemesis (Marcus Smart) off the team he still can't help but hate
Coach still hates the celtics😂
Coach Nick, you should at least try to disguise your bias against the Celtics. The Celtics haven’t been particularly good in the clutch this year and it’s nice to get one when having an off night once in a while. The play clearly worked to confuse the defense and get a clear look for a shooter in the corner.
