  1. Love Mose but reality is reality. He is one of the catalyst for getting us out of the dark days. He has been a great culture builder. But, if we are being honest he has shown no evolution offensively. This year he fell into the trap of average/bad coaches and went copy cat offensively with pace and didn’t take into account how much that would affect the guys defensively or in the half court with no structure. Not every coach is for every team, not every player is for every scheme, not every coach can manage every roster. Mose has not done a good job managing this roster as currently constructed. Doesn’t mean he’s not a good coach, just means he’s not the coach for this roster. Just like JB in Cleveland both parties were better off when they parted ways. That may be what we have to do. It may be time for the fan base to plant the Mike Malone to Orlando seed

  2. I'd rather the team go out there and give 100% effort on both ends of the court and lose then win every other game with the way we're playing. Its disgusting to watch and the team appears to be playing with no heart. I miss my Orlando Magic 😢

  3. I sat first row of sec 108 on Saturday, which if you know Kia Center, it’s literally a few feet from the bench. To start the 4th Paolo was screaming into his towel & kept rolling his eyes and shaking his head. Once the 4th started Penda was so mad he kicked a chair and dam near broke it and made like 3 other chairs fall. And Suggs at a point literally looked like he wanted to cry & put his head on Tyus shoulders during a timeout. Ive been to a ton of games & never seen the team look so demoralized in person. It was depressing to watch, I hope something changes.

  4. Something that regularly pops into my mind is that Franz, TDS and Moe (pre-injury) will almost certainly have had better offensive coaching and coordination with the German NT than they've ever had with Mose.

Franz is clearly a very smart player and often when he was the only healthy one of the main guys, it often looked like he was pretty much dictating things on the court, particularly in 4th quarters when Mose often seems to disappear.

That's something Paolo probably just doesn't have the ability or experience to do in the same way and while it's probably frustrating for both of them, it's probably even more frustrating for Paolo because it so often looks like he's left out the in the 4th to work it out himself regardless of whether that's a role he should really be landed with.

I feel like I could write pages because as Jonathan said, there really are multiple issues, and they've probably all combined to get us to this point. Even terrible decisions early in the season like starting Tyus when Jalen was out completely destroys our defensive identity because you suddenly have 4 guys trying to defend as a unit alongside a ghost.

It feels like that combined with the attempted pace change really did some serious damage to the foundations we'd built over the last few years, and the injuries and growing evidence of Mose's coaching weaknesses simply cracked it all wide open. The question is how much more damage could be done if they keep Mose to the end of the season. We forget how young or roster is, and these guys are naturally less mentally resilient than players who have been in the league longer. It would be a shame to see everything that was built with this group as a unit getting completely eroded

  5. Every other team in the East is winning but no not the Magic, they just want to keep complaining about injuries and keep losing home games. Pathetic! Im ready for Weltman to give this team a shock. New coach or trade some players

  6. Firing Coach Mose doesn't even mean he's a bad coach. He's just not a fit for what this team needs. He'll land on his feet somewhere AI am sure. But we can't keep messing with the roster until we give this group a chance to play for a proven coach. If it doesn't work then, then we can address personnel.

  7. Fantastic episode! Well spoken from the both of you! I'm more on the trade Paolo and can't root for him side of the things, so I'm glad that the conversation on him was had, even though I again attribute a little more problems for this team from him. But yes, everyone just has to be better. Moe is the only one that should be blameless, unless something comes out in a report, since he's been injured all season.

  8. him n ab should of had the ball when we wass done 10 in the 4th we would of won wcj missed both times penda had a 2 3s he didnt take if P5 n ab had the ball we would of wonnthat game n the 4th

  9. Banchero (and others) grew tired of people praising Mosley for a great defense and blaming the players for a bad offense. He decided he's not bailing him out anymore. Simple as that.
