Didn’t they say not to trade jk for Lauri. It would be crazy to trade jimmy after what he has done so far. Plus nobody not gone want to trade for a contract that big and his age with an injury like that so it’s gone be hard anyway

SMH the FO is failing Steph so bad man like especially with jimmy down and out for over a year plus his giant ass contract the FO can’t sit there and think ahh yes we’ll get em next year when jimmy is another year older and “healed” from his injury and trade stock down even more LMAO and babying Podz by keeping him around instead of shipping his ass out and getting something actually needed compared to what we’re getting on a night to night bases with Podz inconsistent ass and Mr DNP like we’re just sitting on dying out trade pieces day by day
I don’t know that MT was meaning this to be a bombshell. It was on a podcast where he was saying they should at least let him keep the head coach he wants. Without names, I can’t give much weight to this. Were the assets reasonable where the other team would accept? Did deals match cap-wise? If MT really wanted to break a story, I think he puts it the Athletic with names of the stars Steph wanted. Remember too Steph wanted Avery Bradley instead of GPII, so players are not the best GMs.
Anyone that Steph wanted Draymond talked the front office out of it. Draymond continues to sabotage Steph because how is the guy in L.A. the 🐐 if Steph finishes his career with 5 championships, 3 being taken from Draymonds bestie.. He ran off 2 huge contributors to winning championships and was not held accountable. They gave him $100 million and they let Klay go. Draymond claims that he's all about winning, but Kerr didn't start coaching winning basketball until after Jimmy called us mediocre.
Mike dunleavy Jr was a trash player and he is a trash GM.

I cant say Curry knows whats good for the team either. This was a team willing to give up two first rounders, Wiggins, and Moody for Paul George that never materialized (because LA didnt want to trade within the division) and both Draymond and Steph wanted that deal done.. Paul George not really doing anything in Philadelphia right now after all. The problem is that the team doesnt have tradeable assets – blame should be on Kerr – without digging into their picks which it feels like Lacob and Dunleavy cherish too much. Unless we know who Curry wanted and then find out what the Warriors have to give up to get them, I cant say its "sickening". Also note, yes, he deserves all the money that the Warriors can offer him, but if he was truly an unselfish leader and give the Warriors flexibilty, he wouldnt be signing a max contract. Jalen Brunson took a direct paycut intentionally to help the Knicks get better teammates. NBA fans forget there is a salary cap and aprons now. Harder to stack teams like they did back when they won those titles.

A possible trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks to Boston Celtics might push thru due to the long unavailability of Jayson Tatum due to injury. A dominant Power Forward/Center like Giannis Antetokounmpo is greatly needed by Boston Celtics to cover the loss of Jayson Tatum.
A possible trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks to Miami Heat might push thru if Bam Adebayo might move forward to another team like Golden State Warriors.
A possible trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo to New York Knicks as additional firepower for the Power Forward/Center Position. He can partner with another tower Karl-Anthony Towns
Another option is Giannis Antetokounmpo might be traded to Los Angeles Lakers to play as the Power Forward. In this case, Power Forward Rui Hachimura might be traded somewhere else since he will be replaced by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
On the other hand, Victor Wembanyama must be acquired by the LA Lakers so he can play the center position and Lebron James will play as the number 3 or 4 position/Point Forward. If a deal will push thru for Giannis Antetokounmpo to be at LA Lakers, I suggest that Rui Hachimura will be traded to Miami Heat to play the Power Forward position to partner with Miami Heat Center Kel’el Ware. Another thing for this case, if Victor Wembanyama will be acquired by the LA Lakers, Deandre Ayton will be traded to the San Antonio Spurs.
If in case, there is a Salary Cap Issue in Los Angeles Lakers, they will be limited to options.
The LA Lakers will do the option of acquiring just 1 big man and that is either Victor Wembanyama or Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Case 1: If LA Lakers will acquire Victor Wembanyama, the LA Lakers might not push to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo due to Salary Cap Issue. Giannis Antetokounmpo might find some other NBA team to settle down. He might go to New York Knicks or any other team or he can still stay at Milwaukee Bucks.
Case 2: If LA Lakers will acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, The LA Lakers might not push to acquire Victor Wembanyama again due to Salary Cap issue. Victor Wembanyama might find another NBA team if he wants to be traded or he can stay still at San Antonio Spurs.

Chet Holmgren might be traded into Minnesota Timberwolves. The Minnesota Timberwolves might be very interested to sign in Chet Holmgren thru trade to become the starting center to support the older veteran center, Rudy Gobert. BIG ADVANTAGE: Chet Holmgren is a Minnesota native. He was born and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
If the trade will push thru, Minnesota Timberwolves will have 2 options:
A.) Minnesota Timberwolves might trade out Naz Reid to either Golden State Warriors or Los Angeles Lakers, sign Chet Holmgren and keep Rudy Gobert.
B.) Minnesota Timberwolves might trade out Rudy Gobert to San Antonio Spurs, sign Chet Holmgren and keep Naz Reid.
Another possibility is Chet Holmgren will be traded to the San Antonio Spurs. This could happen if Victor Wembanyama will be traded to Los Angeles Lakers. Chet Holmgren will possibly replace Victor Wembanyama at the San Antonio Spurs. On the other end, Ivica Zubac will be the big man to replace Chet Holmgren at the Oklahoma Thunder also thru trade.
Another possibility is Chet Holmgren will be traded to Boston Celtics. Boston Celtics is in dire need of a big man particularly in the Forward/Center position.
The NBA trade deadline for the 2025-26 season is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). That is the final moment teams can complete in-season trades for players, picks, and other assets during the regular season.
I’m a big warriors fan but for the past few years the ownership has been awful along with the front office hirings and non movements. Dummleavy jr is the worst gm in the nba and Steve kerr has been ast up by the rest of the nba coaches with his midget small ball ideology. Lacob if you don’t clean house and hire the best gm and head coaches. Then you should trade curry
